I'm sorry but that is just stupid. You're just taking an opportunity to bash Tubby for no real reason. You and I have no frickin clue if he would have recruited Hoffarber.

Also, did you forget that we had one of the best 3-point shooters in the conference in Andre Hollins this past year? You know, a player who was signed by Tubby and could end up being a lottery pick down the road. Or doesn't that count?

Must not be any good assistant jobs available, or there's no interest from any decent schools. Have to believe joining Tubby in Lubbock is a kind of a fall-back option for Taylor.

I feel somewhat bad for Vince. He should have left Tubby years ago when he was still viewed as an up and comer. He is now getting old and unfortunately will likely be a career assistant now. He shouldn't have hitched his wagon to a head coach on auto pilot and on a downward slide to his career.

It took Dick Pit about 15 minutes to assemble the entirety of what appears to be a quality staff. Tubby still hasn't hired a top assistant?

I think Dick Pit is a great hire. I am 100% on board. Dick Pit is a huge upgrade, if you ask me. Tubby was done. Energy level is miles higher now.

Has anyone heard anything official yet on Jirsa or Saul? Tubby's staff is now full (minus a DOBO) at TTU with Vince Taylor coming on board. My guess is Jirsa retires and Saul heards out east with his brother at Loyola MD.

Wish there was a better pic of that pool table, the guy who moved ours, told me Tubby spent a lot of cash turning it into 'gophers' table.
