Official NCAA Tournament Games Thread, Buzzer Beater Reaction, Bracket Analysis, etc

I changed my bracket up after watching them shoot lights out from 3 against Boise State. Teams that hit 3's can really shake things up bracket wise.

Of course they decided they're not going to play in the 2nd half. K-State only down 1 with 8+ to go.

La Salle wins!

Messes up my bracket, I'm now 17 of 22, but had K St. and New Mex getting to the sweet 16 (and losing).

I had La Salle, one of the best upsets i've ever picked. It also means my Zags will face, at best, a 9 seed en route to the elite 8.

After 22 games, there is only 1 perfect bracket left on ESPN out of over 8 million filled out. And that guy picked Colorado to beat Illinois (and many other questionable picks later on). Linky if you're interested:

Haha that guy got aggressive with the upsets. Good job on the last perfect bracket though. That has to be worth something. He might even be right on colorado, game is close now.

My brackets all suck right now but at least I got the Wisconsin game right!

Biggest take-away from the tournament so far: The A10 is the second best basketball conference in the country. A perfect 5-0 through the first round, including 2 upsets of higher seeds. And I'm fairly sure that what VCU did to Akron last night was a violation of the Geneva Convention.

6-0 isn't it?

VCU, Butler, St Louis, Temple and La Salle.. don't think I missed any

Funny....where are all the a Bucky fans today??? Reminds me of how the Tubby bashers go into hiding after a Gopher victory.

Anyone watching the Florida-Northwestern State game? 2 minutes into the game and NW St sends in 5 substitutes... sound familiar? Maybe we'll see 10 players trying to check into the Minnesota-Northwestern State game on Sunday...

Georgetown looks terrible against FGCU right now. Down 8 in the 2nd half.

Now Georgetown down 17. John Thompson III is an awful tournament coach, win or lose this one.

Yeah, but Florida GC sure knows how to pass the ball. They've got a ton of ball movement.

FGC looks like a final 4 team tonight. In the NCAA this year, who knows....

The Gophers side of the South bracket is wide open now!

Go Gophers!!

That game FGCU winning over #2 Georgetown is really gonna mess up the brackets.

Messed up mine. I had them winning it all. In my pool, I was second of eighteen. Now, phfff. I might as well wait until next year.

A guy in my pool was kicking butt again....only had two wrong going into this afternoon. Had Kansas St and Georgetown in his FF. OUCH!

I hope Teague is keeping an eye on Andy Enfield, because he has a superb background in bb to go along with his degree from J. Hopkins in Economics. If he can improve the Celtics free throw shooting by over 5% and runs a up-tempo offense, Teague really needs to offer him after Tubby retires.

That's what you get for saying I had no chance. I thought I went out on a limb by hedging Wisconsin, but you went truly slash and burn with two 8-9 picks that bit you in the behind.

Of course, I still have no chance, but it's nice digging something up once in a while.

Did I say you had no chance? I must have been misquoted in my autobiography. On the contrary, I think you're right in the mix.

In contrast, as I texted you, somewhere a blind sqirrel is kicking my ass.

I said this in another thread, but the parity this year was going to catch up to the top teams. I was sure at least one of the top 12 teams was going down, but if everything holds to form, taking it out a little further, 6 of the top 20 seeds will have bit the dust in round 1. Wow.

Didn't catch the FGCU game, but I just watched the highlights. Holy bleep!! That team has some juice and then some. They frighten me. They were humiliating the Hoyas with their athleticism. They might not be finished.
