Davidson choked it. Was feeling good about my Butler Sweet 16 pick, not as much now. And Gonzaga cutting it very close.
I had Davidson winning and thought I had that right and was gonna gain a game on pretty much everyone in my pool but the meltdown in the last few minutes was horrible. I had Oklahoma State in the sweet 16 and they looked as bad as I've seen them all year in the loss to Oregon.

My two law schools kept me on my toes today. Went to Gonzaga for my first year and finished up at Marquette. Survive and advance! Hopefully the Gophers find a way to do the same tomorrow night.

Trey Burke was worse - guess he isn't one either. Oh wait , he was B1G player of the year.

So how did Wolters do this year in the big ten?

Hahahahaha I was wondering when the St. Cloud fan club was going to come out of the woodwork.

Face facts the kid from St. Cloud isn't a B1G level PG and choked in the biggest game of the season.

Its a little harder to score when you are playing against major conference level athletes.

He'll be lucky to play a game in the D-League.

Sorry , not from anywhere near St.Cloud. If Wolters and Burke would trade teams , who do suppose would have had a better game ? I know Burke wouldn't , but I bet Wolters would have.

What Cal is doing right now is turning basketball into a boring sport. Intentional fouls at the end of games need to be banned.

10 points on 3/14 shooting.

B1G level point guard right there.

Dear God, someone had a bad game? Axe 'em. They won't be able to cut anything ever. EVER.

It never ceases to amaze me when someone judges one hell of a 4-year career based off one game. Dat dere is some smarts.

That is complete jokes.

I hope you aren't enough of a fool to think that Wolters is a better player than Burke; I don't know what other point your proposed exercise would try to prove though.

That's some major hyperbole haha.

He's not a B1G PG, proved it tonight. Not worth a scholarship.

Cal makes me 2/2 on 12/5 upsets. They really screwed the Pac 12 on seeding.

Right, okay. If you say so.

But I agree with what another poster said. If Wolters' performance tonight wasn't worthy of a B1G point guard, Burke's performance certainly wasn't either.

Haha you picked Cal?

I didn't even have faith in the local boys to make it competitive, even with a de facto home game in San Jose.

my only miss on my espn bracket right now is pittsburgh. In the 99th percentile right now.

Did I say Wolters is better than Burke ? The point is if you put Wolters with Michigan's supporting cast and Burke with SDSU's , which player would have been more likely to put up better stats in this game ?

Right, okay. If you say so.

Completely nonsensical. Burke is the definition of a B1G PG, he won the player of the year award in the conference and he's a PG.

Burke IS a B1G PG. Wolters is NOT a B1G PG.

Wolters chokes in big games. Couldn't even suck it up and play in his home state his senior year in the Barn. Thankful no one was foolish enough to waste a schollie on him.

So what's the point you are trying to make then?

Why are we having this discussion in such a negative light? Two great players. Two different players.

Completely agree with you. One is B1G quality and one isn't. One is worth a scholarship at a BCS school one isn't.

Hilariously false.

Man, that's smart. Let's play him on a sprained ankle and make it worse early in the season right before conference play starts. Smart, smart, smart.

What? Are you saying you want them to change the rule altogether or you can only do it when you are behind?

It's the only way to stop the clock when you are behind, they aren't going to change it so the team ahead can't foul.

Hilariously false.

Truth hurts. He has never exceeded his season scoring average in a tourney game. When's he's not playing scrubs like IPFW or IUPUI he isn't as effective.

No heart.

28 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds in a win at #16 New Mexico.

30 points with five 3-pointers in a buzzer-beating loss in a road game at Alabama. That's quite a big game for the level of a school that SDSU is.

27 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds in a win over rival NDSU in the Summit League final to get to the NCAA championship. That's a pretty big game, he must have choked in it.

53 points with nine 3-pointers in a come-from-behind road victory in a conference game. I don't care who you are or what school your playing, scoring 53 points in a game is a pretty big deal.

34 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 0 turnovers in a win at Washington last season against a bunch of players that are in the NBA this season. That is a pretty big choke job, you're right.

19 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists in a close 8-point loss in the first round of the NCAA tournament to a Baylor team that made the elite 8 and also had a lot of NBA draft picks. Interesting to interpret that as a choke job.

I could go on, but I've wasted enough time because of the troll

No heart.

Epic facepalm.

Alright, I'm out.

No one's trolling he would be a solid player for the Gophers but he wasn't good coming out of high school so why keep bringing him up?

I personally would like to see intentional fouls by either side abolished within a certain amount of time (maybe a minute or two). It's probably not the popular opinion but deciding the game on the free throw line is so much more boring than deciding it from the three point line.

Ahhhhh why you gotta go and ruin all the fun?

People have a tough time admitting that the kid isn't a B1G PG. Role player and a walk on at best.
