2022-2023 Other Bowl Games Thread

What a fun game. I think some of you are too used to watching PJ drain the clock. This couldn’t be any more fun and these are two good teams making plays and duking it out.
This is refreshing I will admit

No clue what Michigan is trying to do on defense. This is insane.

They needed to blitz to get pressure and that leaves receivers one on one. Must tackle. And they have not...

Michigan’s DC keeps dialing up pressure. High risk strategy in what was a 3 point game. Not a strategy I associate with this Michigan team. Leaving itself vulnerable to big plays so often. Weird.

I think they felt they had to bring pressure after Duggan had all day to throw the first few series.

Hopefully PJ is watching this game. See how to beat Mich. by throwing the ball.

No idea Why TCU didn’t throw the ball with 1v1 coverage and a 6 inch height advantage there

Sure....it's fun to see big plays and lots of points. But most of that is due to mistakes and terrible defense.

If Michigan didn’t shit the bed on the first two series, there would already be 100 on the board combined — crazy.

Mistakes, or the other team making big plays I don’t know either way or really have an opinion but a lot of talent out there.

McCarthy sure is dynamic, but he bails out of the pocket really really fast among other issues. Definitely beatable.

He’s very middle of the road overall. Can make some plays but also some major gaffes. Decided early he’s going to try go hero mode and it’s worked some and killed them some

Just took a quick look TCU average is 40 points a game Michigan 35 so you throw in two defensive touchdowns for TCU and this is kinda how these teams roll on offense. Hard to defend.

If teams entirely forget to tackle, that’s not talent. Guys are just not playing assignment sound at all this half. Hasn’t been because they’re making them miss. Just my opinion

McCarty’s arm is unbelievable. His downfield throws are on a rope. Michigan’s defensive strategy—leaving a lot of guys out on an island—seems very second-guessable

Question. Why didn't the clock stop when McCarthy ran out of bounds around the 7ish yard line?

There was 4:29 on the clock and it was momentarily stopped. It started back up again with no ref signaling it to start. Wasted 25 seconds.

Whole bunch of players have been falling untouched in this game.

PJ rightfully gets crap at times for wasting time, but Michigan is sure casual getting the plays in and lining up considering they're behind with little time left.

Between the NFL and college football I can never keep straight when the clock starts or doesn’t start when the player goes out of bounds.

Buddy of mine has his drivers license. He used it as his fake ID for a while.
My brother in law lived a few blocks from him when going to Marquette. The building Dahmer lived in was listed in the off campus housing guide.

I don’t love big 12 flag football games but at least this came down to the bitter end.
