I kind of disagree that the U should really do anything in this case. WCCO is getting slammed for this story and the majority of people can clearly see it for the garbage it is. Pushing back on it just keeps the story around longer.
Yeah I'd be wary of 'let's investigate again at the behest of some guy ... whose accusations we already investigated'.

To #1 I could not agree more, only thing that would have made the image more complete was if he was wearing an ascot or something along those lines. Him typing away in his sad little corner was pretty funny as well. Dude is a complete tool.
At some point you have to defend the brand. The U football, Basketball, and Hockey is not the trash pit that every entitled PSW can throw another bucket of trash. If the U decided to put the lawsuit against that PSW I will be more than willing write a check for them. Our Parents always taught that building your own success by bringing down someone else success is not a good way to live . Hope his life is as miserable as he is trying make for PJ.
Just a simple question. Did you talk to Mr. Stahl about the glowing reviews from wide range of audience including some local sport journalists? I would like to know more about how horrible the U athlete program is.It does add up, from what I’ve heard this is just the beginning
Haven’t talked to him since it came out. From the sound of it, I thought there would’ve been more, the segment didn’t do a great job. I can see how everyone (fans, local media) like fleck from what he portrays on camera, but many others including myself have seen a different side of it, and it’s unfortunate. One thing I would like to know is why Fleck or coyle have refused to say anything. I’m not saying they have to but it would be easy for them to deny everything and end any more talks about the story

From the way I was told, was they had a lot of players and former coaches that were being included in the story. I’ll admit even myself I was expecting more, the segment was very vague.
Honest question and not trying to be a jerk - what was your experience with competitive sports prior to your position at the U?
No worries, Have played sports all of my life. Baseball, basketball, football, tennis. Childhood through high school. I’ve had many great coaches throughout my sports that I’ve played. At first I was all bought in with the culture, which anyone would do. My experiences have changed that. I’ve never ran into a coach like this throughout my time as an athlete.
Fleck and Coyle are staying quiet because unless there is some hidden ground breaking revolution what is included in this story is complete and total garbage and not worth dignifying with a response of any kind. Stahl looks like a joke after this and the "allegations" put forth by the story are nothing that you couldn't find at every frigigin power 5 program in the country.
With all due respect....you aren't going to run into a coach like a division 1 football coach at any level in youth through high school....D1 athletics is big business and coaches are forced to run it that way or they get fired. There isn't a lot of room for nice guys in high level coaching these days. Those guys are found at the lower levels where the pressure is much much lower.
Yeah, it comes off as naivete. OMG! Coach Fleck is different than how he portrays himself to the normal fan! Shocker!
