I'm actually starting to get sick of the perverse Wisconsin tracking on this board. While I have been a willing participant, the fact that the main page has four separate threads discussing their coaching search, and four threads specifically discussing our bowl game, is disturbing to me.

Screw them, I hope they screw up the hiring process worse than any other hiring process has ever been screwed up, but man, I wish we could keep it consolidated.

Agreed. Get back to me when they hire somebody. Until than go on Badgers boards if you really want to know about it. This is a GOPHER board.

The longer it goes on the better.
 



I so want them to hire Childress. But I also dread that first loss to him.
 


All this constant who turned them down just comes off as jealousy and envy of where Wisconsin's program is compared to Minnesota's.
 



We will consolidate into an "All Things UW Coaching Search Thread."
 

Go to their Scout Board, there are a lot of Badger fans who still truly believe that Chris Peterson will become their next head coach.

Absolutely. The pure joy Badger fans got over the last search that ended-up with Kill won't be equaled but every guy that turns them down makes it a little better. The sic part is the "pleasure" a lot of so called Gopher "fans" got with the number of guys that turned Minnesota down last time. That number was inflated to be sure but it seemed to be Gopher Fans not Badger fans doing the inflating. Frustrating.

What? Me admitting I was wrong? There's this misconception going around that I refuse to do so. The confusion lies in that it happens so infrequently (me being wrong) that people tend to forget during the long lapses between occurrences.

I think it is comments like this one that are the main reason for why many people on this board hold contempt for you, as you come off as very pompous. For the record, I am not one of them, I am extremely ambivalent towards you and think that you contribute a lot of good information.

Put me in the minority here. I root for Big Ten teams in bowl games, AL Central teams in the playoffs, and Big Ten BBall teams in the NCAA tournament.

Ice was the only one to replay to my thread about moved and closed threads before the mods DELETED the thread. It was up for about 10 minutes.

I just want you commentors to note something. The Mods have a blast laughing about comments. Then they decide whose comments to delete. That has gotta be a fun job, especially after a Gopher loss. YIKES!!!


I am still waiting for a special Thread... Be it on any of the Forums. "What pisses off the Head Referee of Pissing Contests?"
