UPDATED 12/18: UW reportedly hires Gary Andersen with career 30-31 record

Rosemountain has nailed it.

Rosemountain is quietly waiting in the wings to take his expertise, experience, knowledge, and ass kissing to Barry Alvarez and become the next head coach at Wisky.

Now I understand what the Wisconsin culture is all about. It is just like Rosemountain.

Shama:

"Don’t be surprised if Darrell Bevell, the former Vikings offensive coordinator, is the next Badgers football coach. Bevell, who is now offensive coordinator with the Seahawks, has a high football IQ and is a quality person. He was Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez’s first Rose bowl quarterback when Alavarez was coaching and resurrecting the Badgers program."

If you have money, miami is one of the best places to live on the planet. Great food, great scene and a vibe like no other place.

Not really; I couldn't stand looking at all of those ugly latino women....yuck!

I think it is comments like this one that are the main reason for why many people on this board hold contempt for you, as you come off as very pompous. For the record, I am not one of them, I am extremely ambivalent towards you and think that you contribute a lot of good information.

Dpodoll has the same problem that Steve Jobs had, i.e he has very high standards. This is especially true when people use faulty logic and/or false or untrue statements. Yes, he does contribute a lot to this board.

..and he is guaranteed to TAKE the job if it's offered to him!

You always support him...are you is lover?

Five rumors of people who have said NO. That equals zero to me.

Your opinion, that's also a zero. Nah, that's not fair. If you didn't get a chance to whine about nearly everything around here what else would you do?

Moderators! Better consolidate this with every OTHER thread that contains Dr.Don whining about something!

I'm whining? My God Ice, you were the one who attacked me.

Thought this post was a promise:

Mods, THANK YOU for putting this into an "All Things Wisky Coaching Thread". That way I will ignore it all, as I have done till I posted, just now. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

This is stupid.

As best we can say as outside observers, at least five coaches have been rumored to be interviewing with, or interested in, the Wisconsin job, only to say themselves - or have the media relay - that they are not, in fact, interested: Petersen, Rhoads, Golden, Riley and ... I forget the other one.

Whether that means they interviewed and then backed off, were approached by Wisconsin but declined, were using the situation as leverage with their existing employer, or were the victims of internet rumors gone amuck, is any casual fan's guess.

Butch Jones. Tennessee reporter/broadcaster said on The Dan Patrick Show that Barry talked to Butch Jones before he took the Vols job.

Reussee says it's Darrell Bevel. Meh. I hope Chilly is his OC. KAO.

I'm actually starting to get sick of the perverse Wisconsin tracking on this board. While I have been a willing participant, the fact that the main page has four separate threads discussing their coaching search, and four threads specifically discussing our bowl game, is disturbing to me.

Screw them, I hope they screw up the hiring process worse than any other hiring process has ever been screwed up, but man, I wish we could keep it consolidated.

This hiring process is not even close to being the worst. WHen Steve Peterson at Nebraska fired Frank Solich and hired Bill Callahan it felt that it went on forever. There were at least 6 or maybe even 7 people who were approached before Callahan finally accepted the job.

Very true.

Thanks, totally forgot him.

The list could be up to Six. While B.B. staff is scattering for cover the Defensive Coordinator for the Jaguars says he told Barry no also. Yeah, only Minnesota could be turned down by more than 1 or 2 guys.

"Coaches like Miami's Al Golden and Oregon State's Mike Riley aren't candidates for Wisconsin's vacancy, and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker said he spoke with Alvarez but isn't interested in the job. Is Toledo's Matt Campbell a candidate? We could find out after Toledo's bowl game today. "

Craig Bohl would fit Becky to a "T". Likes to boink coeds, thinks his sh-t doesn't stink, goes from one hamlet to another, same deranged fan base, and he wins. Although they still will be the most hated team in the B1G even with the addition of Maryland and Rutgers.

Your infatuation with me is flattering yet creepy
