I hear what you're saying, though not sure any other result would prove less.

I do agree that Okafor's tweet suggests exactly what I've wondered all along-- if Tyus likes Duke more and Okafor likes Kansas more, what will they do? Frankly my dream scenario was that Minnesota would be a compromise choice, and it's unfortunate that never got any traction with either of them. Talk about a quick program turnaround.
 

Anyone hear the Tyus interview on The Ticket 105?
I just caught the end of it with Sansevere and Mike Morris.

Normal speech can not be a violation of the NCAA (tongue firmly in cheek).

Jones just tweeted he will be picking his school Friday, 3pm at avhs. he also has scheduled a press conference at 315 that day at avhs to tell us all he is still considering the gophers

Did they seriously just tweet the same thing word for word (other than the high school obviously)? Is that supposed to be a cryptic hint that they are in fact going to pick the same school?
 










Pretty easy to figure out what's going on here. Tyus wanted to go to Duke, And Jahlil wanted to go to Kansas. They couldn't come to an agreement and got in a pissing contest with each other. They are announcing at the same time to try to upstage on another, Tyus will be a Gopher.

Hey one can hope right?

I heard they looked into it, but Tyus is already afraid of being overshadowed in basketball. I don't think he could handle being overshadowed on twitter as well. :cool:

Sounds like they are going in two different directions. I'm guessing Okafor chooses Fordham and Tyus chooses Stetson.
 


Not that we all didn't know this in...but it looks like Tyus has officially narrowed his choice to either Kansas or Duke:

Okafor (Whitney Young High School, Ill.) and Jones (Apple Valley High School, Minn.), who have previously announced they plan to play together, will make their announcement simultaneously and have narrowed their choices to Duke and Kansas. Alexander (Curie High School, Ill.) is deciding between DePaul, Illinois, Kansas and Memphis. Johnson (Mater Dei High School, Calif.) will commit to either Arizona, Kentucky or USC.
