Does Humphries count?
Sure he does. Nice to see it with a non Minnesota kid though
Does Humphries count?
Does he want to come here and start or play 10 min/game at Duke?

If coach P can get Black that would be huge for next season... Not only because Black is good but because it puts Minnesota on the map for recruiting...

While I wish this were the case because it would help our cause, I think Black would get just as much playing time at Duke. They're losing Mason Plumlee (34.7 mininutes per game) and have only his younger brother Marshall to replace him. Marshall is nowhere near Mason's level and there's no way he would be playing for Duke if his last name wasn't Plumlee. He just isn't very good.
Who is Evan Williams? Why is everyone going crazy over one random tweet?
I'm impressed Coach P even has us in the mix considering all of the schools that reached out to Black initially. I think we have one hell of a recruiter on our hands, you guys.

They have Amile Jefferson 6-8 F, Alex Murphy 6-8 F, Josh Hairston 6-7 F, along with Marshall. Also, have Jabari Parker 6-8 F to go with those players. My assumption is they would love to land Black, but Coach K loves developing players over the four years, which he could do with those guys (Jefferson FR, Murphy FR, Hairston JR, Marshall FR).
Front Court would be shared among all those players ultimately limiting Black's playing time.
Have to imagine Black would make a decision fairly soon with the spring signing period starting today. I wonder if he'll take a bunch of visits or will just commit.

And Rodney Hood.
I suppose if Coach K wants to go with a really small lineup.
...he is a physical presence down low, but does that one inch really make a difference?
Ask his girlfriend.
Tarik Black is 6-9 http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/51260/tarik-black

#Gophers are said to still be a realistic choice for Tarik Black. But word: he has at least 1 visit lined up, if not more. No on MN for now.
That's OK - let him come here last, once we can get the weather straightened out, and knock his socks off. Get some scenery out on Northrop Mall!

When is that going to be, July?!
