I did successfully pick the Pitino hire
Were you the one who said it was Rick Pitino, as in his dad? Or was that someone else?
I did successfully pick the Pitino hire
Stan's wife also said the same thing to me
You are being dense. Travis would still be all of those things, but he would have gone to Stanford instead of Minnesota, which increases his chances even more. I've read all your posts on the subject. I don't think you quite get it.
Let's all get off Stan's wife.

Line has started at DLS high...just a few people but its going. I tweeted to a guy in line asking for a pic. Will post if he posts.
Your nephew?

Is dense the word of the day or just the preferred word for the academic elite? I'm saying he would still be able to have his choice of grad schools and job opportunities WHILE also being the hometown hero and playing in front of his friends and family. Maybe you should go back and read all of my posts again. I have never said Minnesota is a better school than Stanford. Just that he can get a good education, go to a great grad school (somewhere else), and still be the hometown hero.
I'm agreeing with you. What people don't understand is that when discussing people with an MBA, JD, MD, etc. the undergrad matters little. Would you prefer to retain a lawyer who did undergrad at Stanford, and then went to Whittier Law School (voted the worst law school by abovethelaw.com whoever they are, just using that school as an example). Or a guy that did his undergrad at "Brand X" university but attended Yale Law School? My college roommate, at The "U" went on to Johns Hopkins med school, and graduated #1 in his class. It's worked out pretty well for him.

So that definitely does not look like the gym.
Ha! I have a buddy that went to Whittier. He's an employed lawyer and everything. Ok, back to being depressed about this...

Reid took off afternoon classes to head over to the MOA and grab some gear from Goldy's Lockerroom before the big announcement.
