Nobody is giving up, but we are getting smashed and it doesn't look to be getting better. Something has to change quick. This game looks to be un-winnable at this point.
 

Defense looks awful and they've been the only good thing so far. Really says a lot about the non-conference opponents.
 



Well, glad I didnt take the tags off my jersey. Returning that ASAP.
 


Well, anybody believe that Shortell and Company can get us Twenty-Five points?
 

All I have to say is UNLV, W. Michigan, New Hampshire & Syracuse's Offenses must be utterly terrible...

Oh Go Gophers GO! We are so awesome! I just love the way our team is playing today! Good effort guysss!!! YAY!!!

It's more because of what this game meant than anything else. If they had even kept it close (it is, after all, a conference road game against a rival), we'd still have the momentum going in the media. Instead we're getting blown out, and the chorus of "Same old Gophers" is going to start up again. There is no margin for error in this market.
 

Another painful reminder why I should never get my hopes up for the Gophers....

Well, I blame the O on this as the D simply does not have enough horses to keep guys fresh when the O does not even run 3 plays a series. Receivers look like dog$hit...we are not going to win any more games this year if the receivers play like this again.
 



The team has quit, so I follwed suit and quit watching. Would have liked to see our team show up, but guess we're not there. Thankfully, we won't lose next week...

I know it's nothing new, I just still think it's totally lame that people give up on the team at the first sign of things not going well.

defense improved overall but nearly enough to be considered a good B1G conference defense.
 

Kicking game, defense, offense, tackling - all awful. Limegrover is way too vanilla in play-calling (except for the low percentage long passes, one of which was intercepted). This could get out of hand, like Michigan, Purdue last year.
 

Anyone doubting Gray's importance to this team?

It doesn't matter. By year 2 we should have two basic expectations.

1) Don't lose to vastly inferior teams (check)
2) Don't get blown out by anyone.

This is an embarrassment, and it hangs on the head of every person on the team. I can handle losing, but not like this.
 

I have plenty of TV's in the house. Not a problem.
 



I'm still looking forward to the rest of the Season but it's clear we're the same old Minnesota...
