An average B1G defense wouldn't allow 24 points in 1 half. So this D is still below average.

We're getting beat 24 - 0 in the second quarter by a team that barely beat an FCS team and got beat by Central Michigan and Iowa St.

And you expect us to be optimistic for this season now?
 

I am a Gopher and Northwestern fan. Will only be watching BTN for the rest of the afternoon.

And we are getting absolutely outclassed by a team that we beat in year 1.

This performance is unacceptable, regardless of the year in the rebuilding process.

To put in perspective this was a must win for Iowa, it's on the road and their a better program than us. That's why they were favored. To start the game like we did just got them rolling. We have a bunch a young guys who had no idea what they were in for. This is one game we could have really used Marques .Got to get the defense off the field at times . It's too late now.
 

This team is young. now I want to see if the boys show some fight or jus lay down.

If you're only going to care when the team is winning, be a USC or Florida fan or something.

The refs haven't helped at all. I think we have been the only team flagged, and the only two reviews have gone in favor of iowa (I don't count the last review that gave iowa the ball and the two inch line).
 

On the bright side, Arkansas has shown up to play Texas A&M. And I'm about to go looking for West Virginia and Baylor...
 

You can't lay this one on the defense. The offense has done nothing to keep them off the field.

Ha... I have to laugh at myself on that one...I live out of state, and this is the first game I have been able to watch with audio. other games have in crowded bars where I have to request btn on a tv in the corner. Guess I have never heard anything else than stou - der - mire, like Amare stoudamire and Damon Stoudamire...thanks for filling in me in, since I wasn't privy to all the new sh!t.

Anyway, who cares cuz this sucks
