The flag was thrown waaaaaay after the "so called pick". Makes me think there was something else...maybe?

If Claey's is the coach, you need to let him be the coach. Kill being there sort of undercuts his authority. Also causes the focus to be more on Coach Kill than it was before than on the actual game.

There is a reason teams don't have two head coaches, but that is basically what we have right now.

There's a reason you let teams continue to do things for a while. There's a point when you can pounce on it. It's just nice to be in a game in the 2nd half to be able to actually take advantage of it.
