I don't know whether JK sees Connor as a center, but based on the reason Bobek transferred here, I'll bet Urban Meyer does.
 


If by some freak chance we were able to land all 3 of those linemen, and keep Jones commited, we would be set up for an amazing couple of years.

I've seen a couple tapes of him, he's not 6'5" 355 lbs.


I'll tell you with Ragnow (JC is good too), but Ragnow is as good of a lineman as has been in this state since Seantrel. Seantrel has a higher upside because he's a super human athletically, but Ragnow is really good. If we could get JC, Ragnow, and Mayes. . .that would be huge. I think Ragnow is the kind of guy who could come to a program and start Day 1. I know, we'll be more experienced, but he's that good.
 

I agree. I haven't seen a high school lineman with his size have feet like that before. Ragnow would have a starting job by the end of 2-a-days.

Here's what Jones told me about playing hoops in college:

Q: Have you ever been recruited for basketball?
A: Yeah, but not by any major schools.
Q: Do you think you could play both sports for the Gophers?
A: If I had the academic support, I definitely think I can.

I believe that they can. I know one year that they sent out a "jigsaw puzzle" a recruit could put together and it would turn out to be them photoshopped into a Gopher uniform or some such thing. The recruit would get a "puzzle piece" every week or so and the last piece would be the recruit's face. I could have my details a bit wrong, but I'm pretty sure they did that last year or the year before.

Let's hope we had an organized recruiting coordinator that year...I'd have hated for a big recruit like Gray or one of the Olson's to get a face of someone else!!

Quite useful to tweet about team recruiting rankings when most teams have 1 or 2 commits at this point! Mostly an indicator of teams (like in this case) who have secured a top in-state target early.

Ragnow said in an article today on Nebraska Rivals site that he is planning on attending Wisconsin's Junior Day and Nebraska's Spring Game in two weeks. He said that his relationship is strongest with the Nebraska coaches so far because they are in the most contact with him, though they haven't offered yet. I have a feeling this kids recruitment will drag out to signing say with all the attention he is starting to get, including Florida State.
 

Do we know what recruits will be attending Saturday's practice? I'll be there in the morning. Wouldn't mind seeing these guys in person.
 

Is there reason to be concerned?
