Tweets from Ryan Burns

#Minnesota 2014 OL Frank Ragnow (@KNARFWONGAR) has heard from #Alabama #Auburn #FloridaState and #Minnesota (offered) in the past week.

Tim Gordon and 2015 prospect Jashon Cornell (also from CDH) visited Northern Illinois yesterday. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1833408/highlights/35266422 Cornell looks like he could be quite the prospect in two years.

I think this must be the Cretin kid I saw at a track meet last year. He simply didn't look like a freshman. Physically looked like a heck of an athlete. I see it translated to the football field.
Hopefully Kill is on this kid early.

He is going to be visiting Alabama and he wants to go down to LSU and Kentucky (which he has already visited). He also said that a visit here is "in the works".

I thought this was interesting...

Panos's father was on the "93" Rose Bowl team, Joe Panos. Despite and since the coaching change he has been recruiting other players to come to UW with him. Jaden Gault who is also listed a four on some web sites along with Panos is one of those. I don't see him signing elsewhere. At least it would be a huge upset.

I just have a feeling that this will be our highest rated/most talented class since Brewster's big haul in 2008. The mix of good in-state talent, along with being involved with some pretty good out of state kids who think highly of the Gophers, is pretty surprising this early on (given our recent success on the field).

As of right now he is slated to be a top 50 prospect in the nation according to rivals/247 analysts and will have offers from most of the helmet schools around the nation when all is said and done. One of the top DE's in the country//19 sacks as a sophomore last fall.

#Minnesota will have two OL unofficial visitors tomorrow in @KirkBarron73 and Woodbury (Minn.) @JCHassenauer. Hassenauer has a #Gopher offer

Good Find Gold. Kid is a bit undersized but would be a great get, I would assume he may move to corner. Also, great to hear we're on top.

While a move to CB may be an option, I doubt they are recruiting him to be one. Nice quote from the kid.
"Q: Do you have any favorites yet?
A: Yeah, honestly, not because you’re talking to me, but Minnesota’s on top. I’ve told everyone that. Minnesota’s on top. Right now, I don’t have a second school, because the school I’ve been putting my most interest in is Minnesota."

LOL, because he didn't say Nebraska is in the lead?

Actually no, it is simply a fact that he has stated this in other interviews. I don't think Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, and many other BCS program are or ever will be to concerned about losing many recruiting battles to Kill.

Here is quote from an article I read about him yesterday.

The three-star prospect said that wants to attend as many camps and combines as he can in coming weeks to showcase his wares.

"I'm going to Nike camps in Dallas and Tennessee, and also to the Under Armour camp in St. Louis," McKinzy relayed. "I'm also going to an Elite 11 [regional] camp."

I would venture to guess that with a kid like this who is proactively trying to "showcase his wares" that his favorite school will likely change multiple times before signing day.

This is a baseless judgement you're inferring because he's attending multiple camps, which, shockingly, many talented recruits do. I'm sorry he doesn't like Nebraska.

a few people wouldn't be surprised if jc became the second member of Kill's class this weekend. lets hope.

@karonpoole27: S/O to my boy DanielCage @warrior_forlife go follow him big time recruit out of Cincinnati 10 offers #bbn #gophers #vols #Bearcats #Spartans

Go Gophers!!

I'm going to make a prediction that Kamren Lott becomes our first out of state commit this year. Kill offered him almost a year ago and we remain his lone bcs offer. The playing time we will be able to offer CBs should be extremely attractive. Plus he traveled all the way up here on his own dime for junior days so mutual interest is there.

Now holds offers from ISU, Indiana, and South Carolina.
