Go Gophers!!

This would be a big get. Maybe the biggest get in Kill's time at the U? Everyone seems to agree he's waiting on an OSU offer (Ohio kid, of course he's waiting on a Buckeye offer) so say goodbye if that happens. That said, he holds legit West Virginia, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Louisville, BC, Illinois & Indiana offers, the kid's good & he's serious about Minnesota.

I had the same thought. Don't follow recruiting close enough to know about waiting on the possible offer from tOSU, but he'd be a great kid to land.

As I posted earlier in the thread, a newbie to CFB recruiting. Whats the timeline to expect commits to start falling. Before or after bowl season?

Some will start announcing after the Championship games and continue up to the signing day in February. Some of the Big dominos wait and announce at the All-Star games they play in.

Seems to me the Gophers have their guys lined-up that they will "settle" for, they are working on guys they are in true battle for.

We'll have about the same number of recruits as last year (19 if you include Hijinoso) and so far recruiting this year has been following a similar timeline for verbals…if this continues..expect 3 recruits in December, 3 in January and 3 the first week in February which is the week all recruits sign. The most fun was the surprises that came on the national signing day.

DeVondre Campbell and Donovhan Jones I believe. Campbell was a HUGE surprise everyone thought he was a lock for Kansas State.

He's taking his official here next weekend, so we won't hear anything until the week of 12/16. Based on everything I've read, he'll be a Gopher commit before Christmas.

Good stuff. I really like how the D played this year and if we can continually play stout D and get good defensive recruits, it will only make It easier on our young offense.

Campbell was huge. Jones has the potential to be even more significant next year if he builds off his progress. I think he was a late take away from a team which is having a great year (unexpectedly), Missouri.

Ragnow is taking his official to Minnesota this weekend. Big news! Both him and Jones on the same weekend.

That is good news. Secure Jones and convince Ragnow. I'm hoping they can sway the LB from Ohio as well. That would give us 3 more 4 stars (according to some recruiting sites) and would quiet some of Kill's detractors that say he can't recruit.

Kill can recruit. Most of us complainers want to see improvement. It helps to win. Nothing like winning to sell the program.

Tim Leighton tweeted that J Perra received Gatorades Minnesota POTY.

I think the next big thing will be Juco mid year signing day on Dec 18th I hoping that we sign Poock.

Frank tweeted "GREAT talk with Coach Limegrover tonight! Excited to talk with Coach Pittman tomorrow!" he also retweeted one of Alex Mayes's tweets, it wasn't anything football related but the fact that he retweeted something of his and is following him on twitter cannot be a bad sign

Holland is 6'3", 190lbs and runs 4.43. He seems to have great hands and can change direction. He looks like a man playing with boys in his films. yet he has no stars and mediocre offers. What gives? More importantly get him signed.

Believe it was his first year playing receiver. Was primarily a linebacker last year. Hopefully big schools remain oblivious to him. Looks like he could be a major steal.

Coach Kill special...dig a little deeper to find the diamonds.

Who?!!!!

Exactly...Who is it? Can someone help a brother out here? It's the down season and recruiting will keep me interested until the bowl game.

Dorian Baker is from the same HS as De'Niro Laster. He'd be a fantastic pick up. Once the skill position talent catches up to the line play, our offense is going to be potent. I hope he looks at Jones/Wolitarsky and says, "They mean it when they say I can come in and play early."

I hope the Fogo De Chao staff brings their A game tonight! Keep that filet mignon skewer coming!
