Definitely helps to make that argument after a win.

J'vonte Herrod, a 3-star running back (according to 247 sports) (or 2-star according to Rivals) out of Georgia is visiting Minnesota on Nov. 8th. We seem to overall have better recruits coming in this year than in the past couple of years. Slowly building...brick by brick. Not sure how many RBs Kill wants but it seems like a lot in a small class.
I think he's building in a lot of contingencies in case Jones decommits or can't qualify. As has been mentioned frequently, recruiting a lot of RBs and athletic QBs makes sense because they almost always have a lot of position versatility, and worse case can be great special teams contributors.
Can you elaborate? Maybe it's buried in the Jones thread, but this is the first I've heard of academic issues.
dpodoll68 - what % chance do you have on Jones signing at the "U"? I think he is exactly what we need! I put it >50% based on what I have been told, but not much above that.
Isn't Gaelin Elmore a TE? How does he lead in tackles for a loss in Wisconsin?
He plays both ways. He's a damn good high school defensive end. I don't think it's 100% certain he'll be a TE at Minnesota.
He basically is Washburn.Jeff Jones with another good game.

Ha. Did he throw it to himself? Sounds like a Bugs Bunny game.
