Isn't this similar to what is happening with 2021 commit Sam Jackson? Thought I read he wants to play QB but the Gophers already have their QB in this class. Hence why he's a soft commit.

Please don't quit the initials thing. The haters are just jealous they didn't think of it first. It's clearly a far superior way to identify the players on a football forum. Most people spell their names wrong (including myself) when you try to use their whole name. Keep up the good work.
 


I agree it's strange that there is nothing on the Husker board about this, based on a couple recent comments here.. I really have no idea and won't claim to. I'll be thrilled if what some of our people are saying is true, but will keep myself in the skeptical column until then.
 



Still no sighting of JD, Shaka, or any rumored Gopher recruit at Sex World - at least over the the last 14 hours that I’ve been here.

There was a very heavyset man trying to talk to everyone about D-3 football and small town MN baseball. I thought he might have some insight into whether JD would show up, but when I mentioned Gopher football he flew into a tizzy, grabbed his beads and the rest of his gear and waddled out of the store.

I’ll stay here for a few more days to see whether I can pick up any leads.

The old Nebraska steals a recruit because recruiting host got caught taking recruits to the VU and then got caught in a hotel elevator story with a dancer by the Star Tribune. Those were the days.

Final Update: My buddy couldn’t exactly hear the entire conversation after the workout, but apparently JD and Brett worked up quite the appetite. Brett mentioned something about having a hankering for hot dogs – preferably all you can eat. The bald headed fellow said he knew just the place.

JD, Brett, Ed Werder, and the bald fellow were last spotted walking down Washington Avenue in the direction of the Warehouse District. Keep your head on a swivel Replacement Gopher.

I appreciate you putting in 14-hours on this, but you will have to leave the video booth at some point if you hope to spot JD or SS.
 


If the Gophers are having trouble trimming the roster by an additional 5 transfers, how are they going to make room for JD?

The alleged date on this announcement is approaching. Any new buzz? I'm still highly skeptical (but still hopeful) that he is going anywhere, partially based on the lack of discussion on Husker Boards. Anyone have any insight?

Even the announcment date is a rumor.

Personally I think it would be weird to still be at Neb and announce in Feb... and have to endure life there when folks know you're leaving.

But who the heck nows.

Nobody knows anything.

That's a really good point as well. Guess I'd rather just have all the speculation be done one way or another, but that seems unlikely as well.
