Should be awesome! If spielman actually does grad-transfer to U, just think of the drama that will swirl around next season's final game at Nebraska

He has a knack for consistently getting open against good defenses. Most receivers can’t do that. From the little I’ve seen of Spielman, he has elite talent for yards-after-catch. He’s one of those very quick and elusive guys that can drive the defense crazy. Hence him also being a kick returner. I don’t know about his hands, route-running, etc., but simply due to our kick return game being poor, we can really use him. Now, of course, he needs to catch the ball first...
I like to say he's "lightning in a bottle".He has a knack for consistently getting open against good defenses. Most receivers can’t do that.
I think he can't just transfer here or he would have to sit out a season but if he gets his degree he can play next year here as a grad transfer.
Who is that? I haven't seen anybody post that.Yeah there is basically one person in this thread that doesn't want JD, everyone else would be more than happy to see him come back home for his final year.
If it happens, it will be because the coaches believe he can help us. I'm all for anything that might make our offense even better, and if he can help in the return game as well, let's go. Sounds like we will have to wait a few weeks to find out his final decision.
If it happens, great.....if it doesn't, oh well. Offense should be really good no matter what but JDS could add even more firepower to the mix if he comes home.
Hey man, I think you are an idiot too for spazzing out over a difference of opinion. Especially since we had the same end opinion about him coming here. But if that's how you want to live your life, don't let me stop you! Stress away my man.I’m not really stressed out I just think you are an idiot. Results matter some to me.
Are you comparing him to Berkeley Edwards?I like to say he's "lightning in a bottle".
Him or maybe Crawford-TuftsAre you comparing him to Berkeley Edwards?
Oh no I just made that phrase up.Are you comparing him to Berkeley Edwards?
You should quit the initials thing.JDS10
Harold Howell. Are you comparing him to Berkeley Edwards?
If he is unable to graduate before next year, there is still a chance he could play next year. He might have a hardship that would merit a waiver to play immediately at a school closer to home/his family.
Please stop with the initials and jersey number. Refer to players by their name. Thanks.JDS10

Way to take one for the team!I’m heading over to Sex World to see whether he or anyone else of interest to Gopher football happens to show up. Will let you guys know what I find. Just to be safe, I should probably hang out there until Feb 2nd when the announcement supposedly going to be made.

You mean BE32? Thanks for bringing back the memory of that dropped long ball from the Citrus Bowl. Are you comparing him to Berkeley Edwards?
My buddy that works downtown sent me this photo of JD on the blue line this morning. Apparently JD and the bald headed fellow got off at the US bank stadium station. No more info at this time.

Update 1: I just texted my other buddy that works at US Bank Stadium, and he told me that the venue has abruptly closed to the public for the remainder of the day. Word is that it is presumably due to JD and the yet to be identified bald headed fellow. The circumstances have not been explained, though.
Update 2: My buddy at US Bank Stadium just texted me again. A black Mercedes Benz SUV with tinted windows just arrived at the VIP entrance. Rumor has it that the SUV came straight from the airport.
Update 3: My buddy at US Bank stadium says that Zygi, Rick Spielman, and Zimmer have all just arrived at the stadium. Sill no idea who showed up in the SUV. Ed Werder is also apparently en route to Minneapolis as we speak. Still no word as to what is going on.
I think that pass was from ML7, right? You mean BE32? Thanks for bringing back the memory of that dropped long ball from the Citrus Bowl.
Did you just renew your subscription to Photoshop?Update 4: Oh my! JD is working out for the Vikings along with Brett Favre!

Final Update: My buddy couldn’t exactly hear the entire conversation after the workout, but apparently JD and Brett worked up quite the appetite. Brett mentioned something about having a hankering for hot dogs – preferably all you can eat. The bald headed fellow said he knew just the place.
JD, Brett, Ed Werder, and the bald fellow were last spotted walking down Washington Avenue in the direction of the Warehouse District. Keep your head on a swivel Replacement Gopher.

The weird thing is how Spielman is working out at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, yet is in full Nebraska uniform, including helmet and pads. I'm surprised they would let him take all of that equipment out of Lincoln with him, particularly while he seeks a transfer to another school.Update 4: Oh my! JD is working out for the Vikings along with Brett Favre!
