He has a knack for consistently getting open against good defenses. Most receivers can’t do that.

If he is unable to graduate before next year, there is still a chance he could play next year. He might have a hardship that would merit a waiver to play immediately at a school closer to home/his family.
 

well....if he came to the U for just one season, and ended up being a "Rick Upchurch" type of player, maybe it would be worth a look

have we become enough of a name brand to get a waiver like that granted? Thought those were mostly reserved for the big dawgs. :)

I’m heading over to Sex World to see whether he or anyone else of interest to Gopher football happens to show up. Will let you guys know what I find. Just to be safe, I should probably hang out there until Feb 2nd when the announcement supposedly going to be made.

Jerry and his inability to recognize talent- 'The Streveler Effect'
 

My buddy that works downtown sent me this photo of JD on the blue line this morning. Apparently JD and the bald headed fellow got off at the US bank stadium station. No more info at this time.

Update 1: I just texted my other buddy that works at US Bank Stadium, and he told me that the venue has abruptly closed to the public for the remainder of the day. Word is that it is presumably due to JD and the yet to be identified bald headed fellow. The circumstances have not been explained, though.

Update 2: My buddy at US Bank Stadium just texted me again. A black Mercedes Benz SUV with tinted windows just arrived at the VIP entrance. Rumor has it that the SUV came straight from the airport.

Update 3: My buddy at US Bank stadium says that Zygi, Rick Spielman, and Zimmer have all just arrived at the stadium. Sill no idea who showed up in the SUV. Ed Werder is also apparently en route to Minneapolis as we speak. Still no word as to what is going on.

The weird thing is how Spielman is working out at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, yet is in full Nebraska uniform, including helmet and pads. I'm surprised they would let him take all of that equipment out of Lincoln with him, particularly while he seeks a transfer to another school.
