Everything about this whole thing is vague rumors so I wouldn't hold out for anything today.

If nothing happens, I don't think anything is anymore or less likely than before.
 

The OP was an instagram post from the account "gopher.daily". That account is NOT the same as The Daily Gopher, correct? If that's correct, then I'm not even sure what that account is or who, if anyone, it's affiliated with.

Granted, the post itself simply references a message board post on the GopherIllustrated message board, which I believe is a pay site message board that isn't open to the public. (?)
 

Also, someone a bit ago referenced JDS finishing a "J term".

As best I could find in a quick google search, the University of Nebraska does not offer such a term at either Lincoln or Omaha.

9 pages of Spielman speculation. Wow. I admit it, I have been part of it. But in the end I will be shocked if he uproots himself from Nebraska. It just isn't going to happen in my opinion. But, I keep returning to this thread because I'm guessing someone has reported something new. All this time would probably be better directed at how likely it will be that Martinez, after an off year, returns with the promise he showed as a freshman and launches Spielman's numbers into a higher orbit, and how a young Gopher defense will deal with that.

Jokes is probably not the right term for it. Throwbacks to other threads tracking coaches and rumors is probably more accurate.

Yeah, you seemed confused on whether or not something was still a joke if you, personally, didn't find it funny.

So on the chance you are confused by this again, jokes are still jokes if you don't find them funny.
 





Did someone call JDS a joke? Did a Cornhusker start this thread? Is this what happens when a great season finishes? I need something to feed my Gopher addiction. Someome come up with some news of substance. I feel Gopherhole had better stalkers a few years ago. Can't someone break into Vikings headquarters and get some info from Rick?
 

What were your favorite parts of the Spielman announcement video on his deadline date?

Many years ago, during my sophomore year at an MIAC school, a very convincing rumor started that the singer Debbie Gibson would be on campus as a freshman the following year. There were tidbits behind the rumors and it all seemed so believable... right up until hind-sight was available and it was obvious how dumb the rumor was.

Well in this one there weren't really any tidbits that seemed believable other than maybe some vague tweets by JD that didn't have any real connection to the rumors ;)

Debbie Gibson though ... all those rumors about her actually being Tiffany's alter ego and the same person are true.
 




I think he ran out of gas driving back. Perhaps someone needs to go help him out and see if he needs some assistance.
 


I have not kept up with the latest JD Spielman news. What is the situation with him and Nebraska?

It is possible that Nebraska no longer exists.... when was the last time you visited and we're sure it was there?
