1. Your favorite football and/or basketball game that you attended: Airforce game this year. There was a completely different atmosphere than any other game. The excitement, and anticipation of the new stadium, being on campus, and hope that comes with the start of a new season made it so much more enjoyable than other games I've been to.

4. If possible, what non-conference opponent would you like to have on the Gopher schedule annually (football and/or basketball)? Football: It would be great if it were possible to work in a SEC vs. Big Ten Challenege every year, like the ACC vs. BT challenge in basketball.

1. What do you like about the GopherHole site? Prior to the stadium opening, I loved seeing constant updates of the construction, gameday plans, etc. I generally just enjoy the info, links, recruiting updates, etc that I would probably not find on my own. And good-natured ribbing of our own and other fans.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole? Extremely negative folks, continuing Mason vs Brewster arguments, the fact that my blood boils sometimes when I read ignorant peoples' posts but can;t seem to stop.

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? Meh, sadly I don't post often enough to have too many complaints. Match the maroon to the current UofM athletic maroon? (I know, which shade, right?...)

1. Your favorite football and/or basketball game that you attended: Football: TCF opener vs AFA last year. The Halloween night game was good, but nothing felt more led-up to and magical than the first home game. Beautiful weather, gorgeous sunset behind the skyline, AWESOME crowd with the fumble recovery TD... everything about it matched/exceeded my expectations (OK, except the no cash register situation and student entrance line).

1. What do you like about the GopherHole site? Some of the contributing members that have understand where we have been and what it takes to get to where we want to be. I like the interviews and in general the positivity about Gophers, even to the fault of homerism.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole? The new law where it is okay to trash Gopher players, Gopher staff members, Coaches, etc and not the people who spread gossip, form opinions around hear say and admit they know little about football yet continue to demand some player is terrible.

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? I'd like to see more influence of Gopher spirit, marketing, etc into the community. It is something that as a Gopher nation we are not getting. The publicity via news articles are a good start but if the name could get out to more and more fans then the current content regarding players and coaches can get out to those fans who are starving for some positive news on the Gophers.

Maybe some articles on current players, like the freshmen on how their development is coming and how the coaching staff is planning on using them in the coming years. ESPECIALLY the OL. We have NO idea who is playing what position!!!

1. Your favorite football and/or basketball game that you attended: Haven't been to an "enjoyable" one yet since they have lost all of the ones I end up going to. Maybe I should stop going to games? Although I AM looking forward to the NDSU game coming up in the future. Mostly just to get my friends to shut up.

3. Who do you attend Gopher games with? My Dad. There is a big group that usually goes up for a game from my hometown and sometimes we end up going the same weekend which is fun, but mostly it is father/son time.

4. If possible, what non-conference opponent would you like to have on the Gopher schedule annually? I would really like to see if we could develop a rivalry with Nebraska. I've always been a bit of a fan and Lincoln is a great town. Not too far from home where we could get some to travel...I know I would go down for the game.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole? The people who call out players, and the people who post just to get under people's skin.

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? I'd like to see gopherhole get more of a following. I'm not sure how that happens, but with 50,000 people filling the football stadium, you'd think we could get more people posting here.

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? I would like to see some Gopherhole sponsored events. Doesn't have to be big, maybe something like Tailgate with the 'Holers, or something to that extent.

1. Your favorite football and/or basketball game that you attended: 2005 @ Michigan, I witnessed the glory of winning the jug in the 86th row. I remember the clock malfunctioning in the 4th, and when Russell broke out that run we had no idea how much time was left. I'm not a religious man, but I prayed to Buddha, Jesus, Allah, and even Joe Mauer during that last FG to win the game. I still have the ticket stubs to that game and I was present at the Big House the year before. Both times it was Michigan's homecoming. Feb 5th, 2005 I witnessed Vincent Grier score as many points as the entire Badger team in the second half. He was on fire that game. Come to think about it, that same year was when Irmen had that penalty shot against Wisconsin too, man there were some great games that year.

2. Where have you attended Gopher football and/or basketball on the Road? For Football, I've been to all Big Ten Stadiums, the Music City Bowl 2x, the Sun Bowl in 2003, and I was present at the Insight Bowl against Tech. I have a savings account which I named Rose Bowl Funds, hopefully I get to use it in my lifetime. For basketball I have seen games at the Kohl Center in Madison, and I did a quick 24 hour roadtrip to Evanston last year. For hockey I've been to UMD, SCSU, MSU, UW, and to our last Frozen Four appearance. I do attend the WCHA final five yearly.

3. Who do you attend Gopher games with (spouse, parent, child, friend(s), alone, etc.)? Best friend and I have season tickets in 152 Row 3 baby...and our roadtrips consists of old college buddies.

4. If possible, what non-conference opponent would you like to have on the Gopher schedule annually (football and/or basketball)? I wish basketball had better NC schedules, that way I can justify buying season tix to the woman. For football, I wish we played more Big 12 teams, like Mizzou or K-State. Those would be great games.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole? The two kinds of trolls: the negative ones that never have a good thing to say (ArtVandelay) and the ones that probably aren't Gopher fans and clearly have an agenda (gvbadger). Why waste your time?

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? I wish the mods weren't nervous about banning people who bring down the quality of the site. I've been pushed close to quit reading the site a few times this year because of the poor quality.

It's a one stop shop for all Gopher sports news and rumors. Good humor too.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole?
Threads get hijacked much to quickly and frequently. The folks that are 100% negative get a bit old after a while too.

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented?
Increased moderation on the 100% negative users. Some people are purely on this website to talk poorly of our program and make it look as bad as possible to outsiders. While they may not be in violation of board rules, it does hurt the program - and this website is an offshoot and a reflection on Minnesota athletics. It would be my opinion that if someone wants to speak only ill of my university, we should not give them a free forum with ties to the university to do so.

I'd have to say either Air Force 2009 or California 2009. Both games had great atmospheres.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole? The hijacking of threads, which often leads to petty bickering and negativity. Trolls are a problem at times (which can happen on a free message board).

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? All access passes to one non-revenue sport team per season. Introduce the coaches and players to us that directly benefit from the football/basketball/hockey teams

St. We got court side seats and through his contact, got to go into the Gophers locker room after the game and during the pre-game shoot around.

When we play a MAC team though, me preference would be Ohio U, they are the MAC team that we have played the most. I don't have a really good reason for this, but they seem the closest to a "rival" that we have with any MAC team. Iowa State would be good as a regular opponent, in something that would be a real rivalry.

2. What do you dislike about GopherHole? Same issues as every message board on the internet. Threads get hi-jacked and trolls seem confused when anti-Gopher posts are not greeted with full agreement and acceptance.

3. What improvements or changes would you like to see implemented? I think it would be fun to have a GopherHole social event before or after a football game. It would allow us to put faces to the names and might make people think twice before they post something that isn't polite towards another poster. I also would like to see more people take advantage of the post rating system.

1. Your favorite football and/or basketball game that you attended: Unfortunately, most of the infamous games that I have attended resulted in a Gopher loss. I would have to say that the innaugural game at TCF Bank Stadium would be the best time I have ever had as a Gopher fan.

Two great football schools and I would be very tempted to make a road trip if they would ever happen which is something I can't say about any recent away non-conference games. For basketball, Iowa St. and Marquette seem like natural geographic rivals.
