GAME #26: Gophers (16-9, 5-7) @ Northwestern (12-13, 5-7) [BTN, 5:00PM]

You know what sucks? If we win, we have two bad losses. If we lose, we only have one.

Today it's Cobb. Why does someone always have to be super f-ing human against us?

and this. Every game some noname doofus lights up the Gophers for a 4-for-4 or 5-for-5 superhuman shooting night. Note that Michigan's frosh Irvin - the only reason Michigan won at Williams earlier in the year, was pathetic today at home against Wisconsin. Like usual, it's always someone's best ever shooting night.

NU is simply better than the Gophers. They won in Mpls. They are up by 3 despite the fact that their best player, Crawford, has not scored. The Gophers look out of sync and haphazard on offense. NU's defense is dictating the pace of the game and Cobb is in a zone.

I would be careful with statements like this on here. People don't like statements like this, even if it is true. Tread lightly with your harsh truthful statements. Not wearing maroon glasses on here is a recipe for the dreaded ignore list.

Cobb would be the second best player for the Gophers so careful with the doofus talk.

It does seem to happen a lot, but when a player sees more than two wide open threes in a half court set in one half, it's gotta be on the defense or the scouts. Like you said, seems like there is one guy every game.

It's been the same story lately. We turn the ball over too much, give up a few too many offensive rebounds, and are usually on the wrong side of foul totals. When you give up possessions, give the opposition a few more, and give up free points at the line, it's hard to win.

I think it has more to do with statements like this that state something as fact when it can't be proven.

People would like you more if you just added an occasional "but I wish those Gophers would turn it around" to the end of your truthful statements.
Can you understand that?

We beat OSU. We're better.

A thousand thanks, BGF. Do not know why I hadn't put you on ignore sooner. :)

Get Mathieu off Cobbs. Can't go under that screen.

True, but that's temporary either way.

True, and we get a road/neutral win out of it. It's still interesting, and points out the arbitrariness of using RPI 100 as a bad loss.

Great D last possession.

Called that carry very tight, but Cats are allowed three steps and worse.

Little Dre going to drag us to victory or die trying. Love it.

Lil Dre looks like he said get outta my way!! Austin: Its time to start playing like a Senior.

Mathieu can be amazing when he's on. Like he has a 6th gear.

Piper's watching:
