You are serious? You seriously believe Nebraska is worse shape than Minnesota with top notch facilities and super young talent? Ok then. As far as NU, they are well on there way to sweeping the Gophers. But maybe you're right, Minny is in better shape. Ok.

It's amazing how little we care about protecting the ball and making good passes. We are pretty lucky to only be down 3. This kind of feels like the IU game.

Seriously...I'll be glad when Pitino has HIS players. Matthieu is the leader on this team and plays like he is the only D1 player on the team.

I'd put Nebraska and MN on par, but for the sake of your stupid question, I put MN on top. Nebraska does beat us in facilities, but I really like Pitino. He will win a championship someday, and I hope it is with us. There is no question we are in a better place than NU.
 

We should petition the Big Ten to allow us to not play in the month of February or on the road.
 



NU is simply better than the Gophers. They won in Mpls. They are up by 3 despite the fact that their best player, Crawford, has not scored. The Gophers look out of sync and haphazard on offense. NU's defense is dictating the pace of the game and Cobb is in a zone.

There might be a human rights basis for it. We shouldn't be subjected to this. It's cruel and unusual.
 

Disgusting basketball. Slow feet, slow defense, terrible passing. Down only 3; while NU's shooting has been quite good except for the bad night (so far) from Crawford. Still can't figure out why Mathieu continues to pass up wide open 3's to dribble into trouble. At some point they may want to try to guard the opposing team's on-fire player. Cobb getting a lot of looks, why? You guard who's beating you; the Gophers aren't doing that. Instead, just like under Tubby they continue to double the guy at the FT line and give up the wide open pass-out 3. Ugh. This game is the last chance for the team to make the Tourney, and their effort hasn't shown that at all.

That's what it feels like, but we have D1 players...they just need to play like it. It's like I've been pleading for them to do during this swoon: just play as well as you're capable of. Stop the bed crapping!
