Fire Ben Johnson

Drake played 7 guys. 3 guys went the full 45 MIN (including OT)

See if they can keep it up all year.
LOL

Quick, look up. See that? Going right over your head?

That's "the point."

Quit embracing the suck because the suck will suck the life out of everything at this University.

Embrace the Suck.
I feel like this is where I'm at. It's exhausting to care when the U doesn't seem to. Every league needs a doormat, and we're it. There's something to be said for being able to go to the arena or tune in on the TV and there not being any stress associated with consequential games. If this situation is long-term financially sustainable for the U, I'm okay with it.

It's officially time. What will be done eventually should be done immediately. The chances of making the NCAA's this year is officially zero. Let the remaining fans know you care and are paying attention. Give the players something to re-group around. And most importantly get a jump on the search for a new coach.
If our administration cared...they would have kept Payne & Hawkins. And gotten a replacement for Christie.

Again you need to have NIL explained to you in the present environment. The administration can’t buy players you loon. The school can’t be involved. Your stick keeps aging ungracefully. Next year we can have a chat but at the moment it’s not possible.

A LOT of things haven't been possible at Minnesota in the last 27 years.

Ben was on KFAN radio with Grimm today...he talked about how superstitious he is...making the people set the tables up in a certain pattern because they won when they were set up that way.
Can't stay at certain hotels because they lost last time. ALL kinds of things.

Points of emphasis last game he really hammered home that he wanted the guys to focus on...
No live ball turnovers that lead to opponents points. No opponents second chance points. Shoot shots your teammates expect you to shoot versus trying to do something you can't...stay in our offense. He thought they were better at it...proud of his coaching. I couldn't help but wonder what he'd emphasize if he was coaching a college team versus the 7th graders at DeLaSalle. All fine points of emphasis but we should be well past that at this point in the season and at this level.

Good lord he makes himself sound like a bigger loser with every interview.

Table setup is vastly underestimated in the ability to influence a team's ability to win (or lose). Ignore at your own peril!

This is just desperation from Ben. I’d rather take good coaching instead.
