I feel like this is where I'm at. It's exhausting to care when the U doesn't seem to. Every league needs a doormat, and we're it. There's something to be said for being able to go to the arena or tune in on the TV and there not being any stress associated with consequential games. If this situation is long-term financially sustainable for the U, I'm okay with it.

Gopher Basketball is what kept me going through the winters since I was 10 years old.

This horrible run is killing me, since I do not build slides, snow forts and ride tubes down steep hills in recent years.

A good to great Gopher BB team can make the winter fun. I dread even trying to watch the games, since the product is so bad. I fire up the DVR and skip through.
