Bubblicious Thursday: Bubble Talk Goes Out The Window If Gophers Lose Tonight

The three biggest games tonight, in order of importance:

1) Need the Gophers to take care of business.
2) Need Colorado to win (vs. Cal)
3) Need Marquette to win (vs. Xavier)

I'd argue that SC beating the Razorbacks is right in with those second two.

We've gotten a few good results, but most of the bubble games still not going the Gophers' way and the "experts" still inexplicably have weaker teams in front of us. If the committee is thinking like the "experts" are, we're going to have to do this ourselves by beating Penn St. and Wisconsin.

However.....a lot of those "weaker" teams are jumping the Gophers with first round wins over teams that they should beat. I'd still argue that we beat PSU and jump back up into last four in for the time being.

SC starting to show why they're 5-13 in a bad conference. Frank Martin is such a spaz.

SC misses two free throws. Still up one with 16 seconds and Arkansas ball.

South Carolina tried to choke it away but held on. Arkansas is out of the tourney!

South Carolina holds on to beat Arkansas!!! The Razorbacks fall off the bubble.

Thank you so much South Carolina! Arkansas out!

Colorado up 10 over Cal at the under-12 TO of the second half. Every little bit helps.

I would be surprised if it dropped us a spot. Wofford made the NCAA tournament and RPI didn't budge.

Hogs loss actually raised us spot. Missouri was just ahead of us. They played the hogs twice, so they dropped just a bit more than the gophers

SMU loses and so does Arkansas.
K-State lost as well.

GO COLORADO!

We are "currently" 49.

Pittsburgh - 40
Nebraska - 41
OK State - 42
St. Joes - 43
Tennessee - 44
Stanford - 45
Iowa - 46
Harvard - 47
Xavier - 48
Minnesota - 49
Mizzou - 50 (virtually tied)
K-State - 51
Providence - 52
SMU - 53
Florida State - 54
California - 55
Illinois - 62

Colorado up 4 with 12 seconds left in the game! Common Buffs, one more defensive stop will do it.

Colorado wins! Doesn't mean anything if we don't take care of business in the next 20 minutes.

Go Gophers!

FINAL: Colorado has beaten California 59-56! (Collective exhale)

Today has gone very well for us! Just have to take care of business in the 2nd half and hold up our end.

Gophers got some needed help today. Still need to win this one obviously.

Colorado wins! Doesn't mean anything if we don't take care of business in the next 20 minutes.

Go Gophers!

Does 20 minutes of good basketball do it for us? Win and we're in?

Penn State has figured out Lil Dre in transition.

We are "currently" 50 now and Missouri is ahead of us by 0.0001,
