#11 Purdue leading #21 Michigan at the half 51-26!
He wanted to play for mn but Pitino.Ghost of Brad Davison shows up as Northwestern guy gets ejected for a knee to the jewels on a Michigan player. Didn’t look intentional but they said “by rule.” Must be the Davison rule.
That was a Gophers like loss by Kansas. Insane it even made it to a second OT.Houston plays some serious ball in a tough road win at Kansas. That is a physical roster.
Yes Sir. They really pissed that one away. Should have never went to the first OT. It certainly shouldn't have gone to the 2nd OT. Two of their top players (Harris & Mayo) messed up big time. Mayo twice on inbound plays. Disappointing to say the least. That was a Gophers like loss by Kansas. Insane it even made it to a second OT.
How big of a disappointment has Storr been? His production is way down.Yes Sir. They really pissed that one away. Should have never went to the first OT. HUGE!!!!! He looks like a fish out of water, especially on the defensive end.How big of a disappointment has Storr been? His production is way down.
I hate calling TO at the end of the game with only a few seconds left. It just wastes timeHorrible inbound plays by Indiana.
Blew it at the end. Had a foul to give and allowed a made three instead. Hoosiers are spiralingHorrible inbound plays by Indiana.
Will Freddy be able to right the ship?Nebraska made our 21-point loss at Wisconsin look not so bad.
Only when he plays the Gophers. Will Freddy be able to right the ship?
LOL.North Texas is currently 14-4 and 5-1 in conference play and currently a net ranking of 48. So our close loss to them is looking better by the week.
The Mayor… .. nice guy… great dad.. good player.. I like him but he is starting to make Miles look good which is hard..
Will Freddy be able to right the ship?

Surpassing that 16 and 16 mark at this point would be difficult. What weighs in Fred's favor that does not for Ben is that Fred has a prior history of winning at this level.I don't know. I've always liked Fred and I have no desire to see him fired. However, he is the perfect example of how the usual suspects here talk rubbish when they claim that "No coach in the history of college basketball has been given a longer leash than Ben Johnson!"
Here's Fred's record at Nebraska:
2019-20 Nebraska Big Ten 7 25 2020-21 Nebraska Big Ten 7 20 2021-22 Nebraska Big Ten 10 22 2022-23 Nebraska Big Ten 16 16 2023-24 Nebraska Big Ten 23 11 2024-25 Nebraska Big Ten 12 8
His first two years were worse than Ben Johson's first two. His third year was much worse than Ben Johnson's third year. Ben Johnson has a pretty fair chance of surpassing his 4th year. And let's be clear: Fred Hoiberg wasn't a "DEI hire."

I said several times that Fred should be fired after year 3. All Nebraska is doing is delaying the inevitable. The same goes for the Gophers as long as BJ is around.
There is no excuse for Nebraska to be that bad in basketball. They have great facilities and plenty of NIL.
