Yes Sir. They really pissed that one away. Should have never went to the first OT. It certainly shouldn't have gone to the 2nd OT. Two of their top players (Harris & Mayo) messed up big time. Mayo twice on inbound plays. Disappointing to say the least.

How big of a disappointment has Storr been? His production is way down.
 







North Texas is currently 14-4 and 5-1 in conference play and currently a net ranking of 48. So our close loss to them is looking better by the week.

I don't know. I've always liked Fred and I have no desire to see him fired. However, he is the perfect example of how the usual suspects here talk rubbish when they claim that "No coach in the history of college basketball has been given a longer leash than Ben Johnson!"

Surpassing that 16 and 16 mark at this point would be difficult. What weighs in Fred's favor that does not for Ben is that Fred has a prior history of winning at this level.

I said several times that Fred should be fired after year 3. All Nebraska is doing is delaying the inevitable. The same goes for the Gophers as long as BJ is around.

There is no excuse for Nebraska to be that bad in basketball. They have great facilities and plenty of NIL.

Fair enough. I'll give you credit for being consistent.

I won't be angry if Ben Johnson is fired after this season but, depending upon how the rest of the season (and possible postseason) goes, he may have demonstrated some qualities that could make him more suitable for retention than his staunchest critics will admit.

Once again, why are we comparing ourselves to somebody that’s not doing very good can we once set the bar a little bit higher and actually try to be better

Fred Hoiberg - overall - in his 6th season at nebraska - .424 record

Ben Johnson - overall - in his 4th season at Minnesota - .452 record
 

With 2:08 left in the game, Penn St was up on Michigan 72-67, Penn St does not score another point and loses by 4.

Ohio St pounds iowa 82-65.

Magic Man Musselman is trailing ucla 48-37 with 16 minutes remaining…at home.

Arizona hit half court buzzer beater heave to tie game vs my cyclones and then proceeded to make another 4 straight threes to win . We also didn't foul up 3.....

Yeah, the buzzer beater was tough to watch. Not nearly as tough as watching KU piss away the Houston game. None the less, sorry for your other team to lose that way.
