I believe Woodson to be the 18th best coach in the league, and that’s being generous - there are some assistants that are likely better. He’s exhibit A why having a talented (and expensive) roster is not the most important thing.

He's also exhibit A why Ryan Saunders is a terrible idea. Let NBA coaches stay in the NBA.

Kevin Warren gave us, penn state, and indiana the big bucks to make DEI hires. Worked out for Penn State (now Notre Dame), but us and Indiana are bottom feeders

No one was lining up to hire Woodson, NBA or College... a sucker born every day. Hmmm..Wait! Sounds familiar....

Washington is seriously no joke! Sprinkle looks like the real deal. If they make the BTT, they could win a game or two.

Washington losing by 10 to Nebraska at home. How the f*ck did we lose to them at home?!
I spoke way too soon. How DID we lose to those schmoes?!

This BGSU team is going to be a force in the MAC and would spank the Gophers (I guess we can't type out Goofs) if they played. #6, Johnson, is already my fan favorite.
Currently 3-7 in the MAC and #308 in T-rank…the MAC is pretty awful, too, with 5 sub-300 teams.

Maybe the spreadsheets were right?

Only four (Garcia, Odukale, Asuma, and Frank Mitchell) of our players showed up in the game. The rest were MIA. Drubbed on the boards, especially offensive boards. That's how Washington could outscore us while shooting .418 to our .523 (11 more shots from the field than us). Mediocre free throw shooting also didn't help.

Such a force they might not even make the MAC Tournament! Lmao

Pitino auditioning for the Miami job. Will be interesting to see if he is back in the P5 soon. Mountain west and New Mexico isn't a bad gig. Lost key guys to the portal and still rocking a 19-4 and 11-1 record. Not bad for an $800,000 per salary. He'll still be under his $2M salary at MN for some time.

He was built for the portal era. Add the cash at Miami and a soft ACC and he might end up being a redemption story. I think he needs to demonstrate some post season success before they take a chance on him.

Welp...

I think big Frank should play more.

Well, he's hit and miss but when he's on and we have the right matchups, he can be pretty effective defensively and is capable of pitching in acceptable scoring for a primarily defensive player. He also tires a bit more quickly than some others and can be foul prone so that tends to limit his minutes.

UST smacked by So. Dakota St… could not get stops and CRUSHED on the glass…
Would you agree top need for 2025-26 is a 6-9ish big who can protect the rim some & offer at least some presence inside on the offensive end? Tommies have plenty of quality wings, guards, and a really good stretch-4 (Bjerke), but the lack of size down low (i.e. rebounding) kills them against teams with any quality size.

They need a Kalkbrenner! Look at his progression and impact at Creighton since 2020.

Huge win for Richard's New Mexico squad last night, 82-63 @ Utah State in a game for the Mountain West lead. 52-27 blitzkrieg in the 2nd half. Resume really needed that Quad 1 win.

Barring a couple really bad losses, looks like the Lobos are headed back to the NCAA tourney. Still have key road games @ Boise State & San Diego State, as well as the return home game vs. Utah State. Win 2 of those 3 and/or get at least a share of the regular season title, and I think they'll be in pretty good shape for a bid.

Lunardi has them a 9 seed now.
