I wouldn't be surprised to see Mason end up being one of our better shooters next year.

His abilities remind me a lot of Andre Hollins. Similar size, good solid athleticism with a really good looking jump shot.

Yeah I agree with the Dre comparison. I'd say he has a slightly better handle though, which should allow him to potentially be a better PG.

He reminds me of Dre also, but I would guess not as explosive of scorer, or as ready to play as a frosh. I can see him getting big minutes as a sophomore.

Mason seems to be a guy who can just handle the ball and distribute or take over scoring when needed. I've seen box scores where he's scored 3 in a win as well as higher scoring games.

I thought the same thing after watching his tape.

It is going to be refreshing to have a player that always looks to dunk instead of simply going for the lay up.

I see nate as a primary back up to Mathieu next year. One big factor for this team will be if McNeil can develop and contribute much more next season

Mason's nonchalance and Martin is cock of the walk

I'm not seeing the comparison to Dre with Mason. I know I'm seeing clips from AAU, but I like the kid's nonchalant attitude like he's been there before. Very understated.. he knows he's good.. I like that.

Josh Martin on the other hand... now he seems pretty impressed with himself. I like that too. Randy Moss has always been one of my favorites. I can appreciate both approaches.

Josh Martin loves him some Josh Martin....

Josh Martin is going to get under the other team's skin. You saw that this year with that coach yelling at him at the end of the game that he "wasn't that good." I can see Bo having an aneurysm every time we face Wisconsin.

GAINESVILLE – Brandone Francis hit a jumper in the closing seconds to give Arlington Country Day a 53-51 win over Potter’s House in the Sunshine Independent Athletic Association boys basketball championship on Saturday night.

“For the seniors, I am [happy],” said Apaches coach Rex Morgan. “This season there has been more injuries than I’ve had in one year They came back, put it together. I couldn’t be more proud of the guys.”

It was quite an ending for the top-seeded Apaches (30-5), who trailed by 11 in the opening half and fought off a pair of ties with under a minute to play. The Lions (25-8) tied the game at 51-all on a free throw with 16 seconds left to set the table for Francis, a Florida signee. He went the length of the court, found a spot on the right side and hit a fallaway from 12 feet to give ACD the title.

Nate Mason had 10 points and four assists for the Apaches to earn MVP honors. KJ Maura (12 points) and Terrell Miller (10) both finished in double figures. Francis and Ladarius Chester had eight points apiece.

Lolol not you again. You could be right but no one will believe you.
He moves a lot better than Elliott or Mo and is a lot stronger than anybody we have at forward. He'll play. I think they are counting on Morris to come in and play quite a bit and replace Austin's offense, probably not to shoot 3s a lot.
