He originally said he'd cut it to 10 but he ended up listing 11. So he's only down to 11 right now.

The fact that we are mentioned last with Rashad...
Jaquan Newton also listed us last. Maybe this is code talk amongst recruits that the school they put last on the list is the school they are thinking of going to! A little PG-SG collegiate duo in the making via twitter code talk? ;)

not gonna lie...kinda questioning a little hard on ask.fm......but to rashad's offense he hasnt given in to any of my foolish atempts and sound relitively competent
 

just asked him who his favorite was for next season (Kentucky, osu, kansas, msu, michigan, and louisville)...he said hes not authorized to say that.....i was referring to who his favorite was for the title, but perhaps hes being carefull because at least one of these teams is high on his list....and last but not least he prefers BIG or eminem and tupac

I think he was trying to avoid questions about his recruitment. My guess is he would have responded he same way to any school that was floated out there, just happened to be MN.

This makes me feel better, espically the last tweet. I think we can beat out ISU and UNC for Rashad.
 



Like others have said - we need one guy to commit soon hopefully. Better chance of others to follow. Someone has to start the trend.
 

I thought the North Carolina ship had kind of sailed once Theo Pinson committed there. And even if he does go to Iowa State he might have to go to Minnesota first for a year or two, assuming Hoiberg is still requiring his players to have some experience with a Big Ten program before transferring in.
 

Getting the commitment from Vaughn ASAP is a "build it (with him) and they (others) will come precedent. A play making PG would be sure to follow regardless if he isn't TJ or a Newtonian,

Perhaps ultimately the many 4 and 5 star recruits don't commit at a rate we hope for 2014, but this is about program building and raising the prestige and visibility of RP and MN's northern exposure.

Definitely a positive sign, I like it. I don't see him at UNC, but he does seem to be legitimately interested in ISU. I still wouldn't sleep on the blue bloods like Kentucky either. I do think if he goes B1G it will be here. A lot can change in 6+ months though.

I still think Kentucky is the biggest threat.

Vaughn has indicated he'll wait until Spring, so the likelihood of a commitment "ASAP" is very slim.
