I read other boards, and apparently old man Benhart made some snarky tweets after junior got benched and has a few people expecting him in the portal real soon.

BTW: What a stark contrast in today's two, big games. One with no defense and the other with next to zero offense.

And Iowa probably drops to 5/6 in the week six power rankings because they didn't score 66 points.

BTW: I'm not sure Alabama could beat Iowa by 3-4 TDs with the way Iowa plays defense. They'll be in every game.

Iowa would struggle to score any points against Alabama. Penn St would have won today by at least 2 TDs if Clifford doesn’t get hurt.

Not totally sold that Iowa doesn't win if Clifford doesn't get hurt but I do think PSU would have had a much higher chance of hanging on for the victory. Backup QB did not look good at all.

I would agree with that. They are very very good but don't think they are top 5 worthy. But they are certainly the best in the West by a pretty wide margin.

Then you don't understand what an elite defense means to TEAM football. And much as it pains me to say it... Iowa has an elite defense and an elite special teams.

That wins you a vast majority of the games you compete in.

Right now, Texas A&M is proving Alabama is far from unbeatable.

But Iowa historically loses a game they're not supposed to, so I doubt we ever see that matchup.

I think they're a top ten team. but I think they're overrated at this point.

Did I do that right, guys?

The refs will have some work to do to save Alabama for the SEC hierarchy.
