Week 1 Other Games Thread

Houston takes the opening kick off, score a TD. Recover onside kick and score again. Held the ball for almost 13 minutes and 2 TD’s before T Tech had an offensive play..

Then were outscored 38-7.

ouch

I disagree.....but I love defense. Georgia’s defense is a thing of beauty. Clemson’s too for that matter.
All of these week 1 games are so hard to read, with such a small sample.

Is Georgia defense just that good? Or is Clemson going to struggle on offense this year? (relatively speaking)

Montana now leads 13-7 over ranked (for now) Washington team.

Vandy down 23-3 to East Tennessee State
Georgia Tech goes down 22-21 to Northern Illinois

Washington just turned it over on downs, Montana ball 1:30 left.
I live in Seattle now. Watching it in a bar and apparently alot of Cougs fans here - and now Grizz fans. U of Wash had a horrible 2 min offense, and their receivers weren't helping the cause at all.

I do wish we had Iowa at home this year instead of that snake pit in IC. Ido like the chances we have with the rest.

UTSA did not throw out half the playbook when the saw the farting Illini line up.

Based solely on what we saw the first weekend, which is a hot take...Minnesota should be favored in 8-10 remaining games. The only game in which they may be an underdog of more than 7 points is @ Iowa.

After the Georgia game, Clemson's schedule is disgustingly soft. No Notre Dame, Miami, Virginia Tech, or North Carolina. Minnesota would possibly be favored against all remaining Clemson opponents.

One of those week teams will need to look good just from playing an equally bad schedule.

BTW, G-Tech has not looked good ever since our Motor City Bowl. Those were two teams going in two different directions.
G-Tech has only won 6 games since then.

Is there a pac 12 channel? I have directv. Can’t find shit

Not a fair comp with no context. Everyone knew it'd be hell transitioning from the triple to a modern offense.
