Think they're close to the announcement?

They probably have more than one private jet flying around to prevent tracking, don't you think?

That would be awesome! Even if not financially plausible the idea is incredible and would be lots of fun to follow.

boom - you beat me to it, was just going to post. hmmmm...... (this is all pretty funny)

There's probably 100s of private jets leaving the Cities but it will be funny when a member of the media mentions this flight to Philly as rumor/speculation that is "floating out there". You know one of them clowns is now on the phone investigating it.

Joel Maturi was in Philly, but was seen leaving in a schooner flying a red, white and green flag.

If Maturi and Company were worried that fans will be disappointed, then they wouldn't be overly-promoting this facebook/twitter thing.

I take this as a good sign.

(now as the board's sole person who is not sold on Golden, I'm not sure that the airplane to Philly is a good sign).

My friend/source says that there have been no citings of Maturi at Flying Cloud Airport.

LOL, this thread is awesome. Love the theories and investigative work being done on the company dime.

Seriously, these are the types of threads during times like these that are just full 'o entertainment LOL

Just so we're clear, it's the Anoka Co. airport, and it's in Blaine, not Anoka.

It's a hop, skip, and a jump from my house. If I weren't stuck at work right now, I'd be there at 3:39 with bells on.

Would you be like the Auburn fan when Jay Jacobs returned from going to get Chizik? That was hilarious.

Not completely sold either.

So glad I don't have meetings this afternoon. To miss the "3:39 landing" would be a shame.

If Golden steps off a plan without proper neckwear, I will not be amused.

Any contract must stipulate he keeps the tie.

Do you think I am joking?

< a little dissappointed that no one picked up on my Carmen Sandiego reference.

I'm disappointed that I missed it too. Played a lot of that game back in the day.

I am ready for this search to be over...though tracking flights that may or may not have the AD on board is pretty amusing.

Ah, good one. No, I didn't get it, but recognized it when you mentioned Carmen SanDiego, I used to play those games way back when.

I just have to say that, regardless of its veracity, this is bar-none the most entertaining thread on GopherHole since I joined. Eighty-five posts in just over an hour?

If the 5 years 25 million request from Mullen is true he better be on his way to Mississippi

TCF - I just had to run to Best Buy and pick up a new computer after the meltdown that ginormous picture caused me!

Could be just coincidence, but there is smoke around Golden being our next guy.
