Other Bowl Games Thread

Was I the only one here who actually watched part of the Buffalo/Liberty match-up in the Bahamas Bowl? Truly a game for the ages in a 15,000 seat stadium usually used for soccer matches. Buffalo waxed Liberty 26-7. It could have easily been 33-7, but the refs took about 10 minutes to review (and overturn) a Buffalo TD with less than 10 seconds left on the clock. This reviewing crap has gotten way out of hand.

Lee Corso almost fell down dancing with the Irish Leprechaun. He's not looking too good

Yeah, neither team looks very good on a consistent basis. I don't understand why PSU isn't running more. They have pretty good control of the LOS. Allar is off tonight with his passing.

Should only be throwing him on shots deep off hard PA. Penn state killing them on both lines of scrimmage right now

Allar has been off often throughout the season.

Drew Allar is really hard to watch. Huge arm with horrible mechanics and can’t read the defense or pressure at all. Pretty rough from a guy in his second full year of starting at a place like PSU
I don't think Franklin is good with QBs. Hackenberg got worse when O'Brein left and went to the NFL.

If Penn St wins, that means the Gophers are essentially the 3rd best team in the country at a minimum since they only lost to them by 1.

I'm surprised at how well PSU has done in the playoffs. Notre Dame looked great in their first two playoff games. I guess at this time of the season all remaining teams are in peak form. But, yeah, this helps our final computer ranking.

Penn St is a very impressive team physically. Both lines are are legit. I wonder if ND having to play two consecutive big time programs back to back may take a toll on them.

My take didn't age well.
I figured things were in hand well enough toward the end of the second quarter that I sent a text with the Gopher/PSU box score to a couple out of state friends with the comment nobody in the playoffs has played PSU as tough as the Gophers.

It has been all Notre Dame since then.

If allar wasnt god awful, PSU would’ve run away and be hiding here in the 2nd half. Now he’s going to have to figure it out if they want to have any chance

Penn State is imploding.

Not that I think it matters much. Ohio State is going to dismantle either of these teams.

It would be funny if PSU fired Franklin and hired Thomas Hammock.
