Other Bowl Games Thread

Pretty sure he is a former Alabama QB but good lord he has come up with some stupid comments especially late in this game.
Was a bit tongue in cheek. Pretty sure he held an nfl clipboard for awhile too but he is incredibly awful at game strategy and commentary

We are in agreement....I just can't believe he actually suggested not scoring too fast with the clock under 30 seconds.....that is just so ridiculous.
In the nfl I agree with it with how good the kickers are. In college, absolutely not

Aller is a solid QB but he fell apart at the end of this one.

I felt the pick coming. Was surprised to hear the announcers saying trust him. He's not that good. That said, Franklin had to be aggressive and try and win in regulation. He'd have been raked over the coals if he played for OT.

That all said, I don't think either team would have stayed within 20 of Ohio St or Texas. This was a great game, glad I got to watch. Notre Dame is going to lose big.

I finally relent and cheer for Pedo State because of the Big Ten (and, well, it’s Notre Dame) and they finish like that. Never again.

Maybe OSU will play them like they played Michigan and try show how tough they are. In reality I think it’s more they have to be +2 in the turnover battle and kill clock to have a chance.

Texas I think it would be a dog fight (ASU ran on them very effectively).

Not sure what games the commentators were watching with Allar....he makes good decisions?? That bonehead play didn't surprise me at all.
Which of his ten lame duck passes was your favorite?

Kids franklins typical big arm guy who’s a major head case who will melt at inopportune times. Will be curious to see if he’s back with PSU next year and if they continue to try hand him the keys

Was he injured? I admit I don't watch a lot of Penn State... but the announcers were talking about how great his arm is, however he rarely went downfield in this game and when he tried he was mostly terrible. 1 INT plus two more on lob balls overturned by penalty. If I'm reading the box score right, no completions to WRs.

Warren is a beast. Pedo U had 0 catches by a wide receiver. Don’t c ND beating OSU if they play like they did against OR. Go Irish ☘️!

I was at near Gopher levels in my backing of Penn State over Notre Dame tonight. Really wanted an all-B1G final and chants of “SEC! SEC!” Echoing through the stadium.

For a brief moment I was thinking to myself “I don’t know what I’d do if the Gophers lost a game like that.” And then I thought “Ah, nevermind.”

I watched a lot of Penn St. That's Allar for you. He makes bad throws and is very inconsistent. He looks good when they physically dominate other teams, but he doesn't appear to be able to put a team on his back and win. Just isn't his skill. So no, I don't think he was hurt at all.

No this is exactly who he’s been for 2 years. I don’t understand the love affair

To be fair, that was a pretty weak PI call to wipe out the interception against Notre Dame. Penn St lost this game in the first half when they didn't score more while dominating.
Not at all.

#1 absolutely a stupid throw into triple coverage. #2 the player who was called hit the PSU player way before the ball got there and both his arms restricted the PSU player from even being able to make a move on the catch.
