Georgetown????????? WTF is the committee smoking this year?
 

I'm ok missing out since SMU also missed. It was going to piss me off if they made it and we didn't.
 




Is 1 more person going to say that "we weren't even in the first four out"? Haha.
 

How were FSU, Green Bay, and Georgetown ahead of us. God damn.

We had a better RPI than all of the "first four out" and two of the "last four in". Does anyone know if that "last four out" is officially released by the committee, or is that just the four teams that the CBS guys want to talk about.
 

Potential NIT bracket opponent; Marquette, UW Green Bay, North Dakota, Utah, etc...NIT, I know it sucks, but could be fun to watch for a basketball fan.
 

I'm going to go cry myself to sleep....that was really depressing. I'll never forgive the committee for putting in NC State over Us. Terrible...just terrible.
 





Georgetown projected as a 3 seed in the NIT was first four out?
 


I thought the committee really didn't do a great job this year. Both BYU and Dayton not only get in but don't even have to play in the first 4.

The committee may have been in another world this year, but don't blame them for us not making it. We lost at home to Northwestern and Illinois, and at Purdue. That's why we didn't get in.

Can a 4 or 5 seed and a 3 or 6 seed keep an 11 or 12 out? Big Ten occupies 3 of those positions. Premise that conferences don't square off against each other the first weekend?

not terrible if you look at NC State beat 3 RPI top 50 teams at road/neutral sites. Gophers didn't have any road/neutral victories of that type.

If I was Mo I would be feeling pretty ****ty right now. He's probably feeling that he cost the team a NCAA Tourney Bid. Tough...
 


Wake Forrest AD sounds like a Maturi kind of guy.
 

Not a whisper about Minnesota in the selection show. Looks like we weren't real close in their minds.

As frustrated as I am with the committee, you are right. We could have taken it out of their hands if we hadn't dropped some easy games.
