Incredible game from Loewe. Now we must know what was in that IV...Willis, TT, and Loewe with 40 minutes played. Incredible.

He understood the assignment. Great win!Payton gonna have to do his best Marcus Carr today and carry this team for 30+ points
No, Ogele and Thiam only bench players that came in, 3 minutes each, 4 missed shots togetherI'm out of BTN territory in the winter so follow the games on CBSSports gametracker.
One line appeared on gametracker saying Parker Fox missed a two point attempt. No other mention of Parker but he's in the box score at 0-1.
Is it true he played a few seconds?
After they said that on air, had to look it up because just couldn't believe it. They did not lie.Remember they have won 21 Big Ten games the last two years. This is not the Rutgers of old.
I thought they meant 21 games ever....After they said that on air, had to look it up because just couldn't believe it. They did not lie.
I think about 4 of them were handing Willis the ball back at the top of the key but a couple of them were nice.Daniels with 6 assists
Pitino win this game? Laughable. And Shaka would have called in sick. No way any of these other guys can do what Ben has done with the talent. What a way to stop the bleeding! I didn't see the famous 1986 game where suspension laden Minnesota beat Iowa with 6 players (including a football walk-on) so this easily is one of the most inspiring college basketball wins I've seen in my lifetime.
This might seem like a gratuitous cheap shot but I don't believe Pitino ever would have won a game of this stature under these circumstances.
He didn't try to do too much for once.Big Chuck had a fine game too. He still drives me insane but hey he played well enough tonight.
Crazy. They still have him in the box score going 0-1.
Good point. I was arguing with myself about this. On paper, a win at Michigan looks better than a win at home against Rutgers. But when you look at reality, this is by far bigger. Down a lot of players and Rutgers is underrated. They are a pretty good team (better than Michigan I think). I am so impressed by this team and the future.Best win of the year! I don't think that can be argued given our already little depth and missing 3 of our Top 4 scorers. Very impressive!
Let's hope we can get a couple guys back by Thursday!
Never say "I love you" or "I'm giving you a raise" in the heat of the moment...I need to post this in the moment before I come down.
I love this team as much as I've loved any Gopher team as long as I've been a fan (1981-82).
This was one of the great basketball games I've seen.

If those two played on a neutral court right now, I think Michigan would be favored...Rutgers is better than Michigan. It isn’t really a question in my mind.
Maybe Kern? Were Ogele and Thiam the only reserves available today?

Think how fun it will be when it is full for the Sconny game and we beat them badImagine if it was a full house
Gotta love the heart of this team. They don't know how to quit or give up.At least 3 or 4 times, Rutgers was hitting everything, and went up 3 or 4 points. I'm thinking that's it. We kept coming back every single time though.
