A lot to unpack from today’s game but when it boils down to it, Johnson found a way to lose. But we dust ourselves off and move on, we have no choice.

This seems like a game we should have a good chance to win but we’ll need more on the offensive end from Garcia.

We don’t want to go winless in Florida and 3rd place is there for the taking.

GET ‘ER DONE JOHNSON!!!!!!!!
 

If there's any silver lining.....we were very unlikely to beat Florida. Find a way to beat Wake and we'll still get out of Florida with a 1-1 record.

Yeah but just playing Florida and losing is far better than Wake.

Florida is a Kenpom top 20 team and will have an excellent NET too. Lock to be Q1

Wake right now we have to pray is even Q2

Not that it truly matters for this team. But Id rather go 1-1 and try to play a good team

I'd prefer to play good teams every once in a while in the Non Con. Yeah, were likely to lose, but it's a chance to play a legit top 20 team. Wake has looked pretty terrible this year so far. They've dropped 62 spots in KenPom since the start of the year.

This should be CBJs motto. Sure they suck but we might win, and that is better than playing someone decent!

This year can't end fast enough.
 


Another coin toss game (65-63 on Torvik), WF did beat Michigan earlier, but they're rated behind N. Texas now. About 20 spots higher than MN with a similar profile to MN - OK D, mediocre O. Sallis is their best player, a transfer from Gonzaga last year. They take more 3s than MN, but are bad at actually making them. Bad rebounding team. Good at blocking shots.

Scheduled Bethune-Cookman knowing perhaps they'd need an immediate confidence booster post-Orlando before opening Big Ten play vs. Michigan State?

Honestly not a grammar nazi but it's "tread" not "thread". We all know what you meant. Hey Ben, use your damn bench please! Doubt he goes deeper that 8 today. Will Betts get any PT? Doubt it. Looking more and more like a bust to me.

This team isn't making the NCAA tournament and we're going to play a bunch of good teams come the conference schedule. I'd rather the team won and be playing Florida.....but getting a win in one of the two games is important no matter how you look at it. Wake is still a high major team.

Yeah but as far as Wake goes they are still talented but also look really poor metrics and eye test. So its just kinda meh situation.

With Florida that could possibly be the best offense we've faced all year. And Im curious on how good this GOpher D actually is. That's the one thing that might actually be good about this team(or simply a product of playing a bad schedule)

You're right that as far as resume goes it doesn't matter. But we've went through years of playing blah teams. Woulda been fun to take as swing at a good one and maybe torch their resume a bit

This team does play really entertaining back and forth games against bad teams

He forced a long jumper when we had some momentum that was brutal

Lead to an easy run out for Wake when they couldn't score to save their mothers in the half court at the time
 


Good minutes from Edmonds. He looked solid early in the year

Then in classic Ben fashion saw his minutes evaporate for Tubby Mitchell and Fox.

Edmonds should be in the rotation with them. He's long and active as hell. You need that in big 10 play
