***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MICHIGAN BATTLE FOR THE LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Great catch and transition to the field goal team but why would you throw the ball short of the endzone there? If you're just going to throw it up in traffic, why not go for the touchdown?

Is there any question that the OL coach needs to be fired?

No running lanes
Terrible pass blocking
A center who has more false start penalties alone than we usually see in a season.

Coach Callahan has to go. It's not the only place that needs improvement, but if our OL can't execute it doesn't matter how good of an OC you have, or how good of a QB, or WRs or RBs.

Um, is our D playing OK? It seems like they are.

I don't think that Michigan QB is good.

Seriously, what would be the downside to giving some other players time on the OL? It literally can’t be any worse.

Hey, at least he got the throw off that time.

They are playing well and with a lot of spark, like they were embarrassed last week in our looking to come out and regain some pride.

Irony: Gophers enter halftime with 130 yards of offense (a lot on last play). Michigan has 107 yards of total offense. Field position is a huge problem, as are turnovers. Michigan DL is astounding. Crushing our OL without any blitzes. Makes passing a lot tougher. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Maybe, or one could just look at the overall performance at the QB position since Fleck has been HC.

Really good quarterbacks are hard to come by. And then you need receivers who can create separation and a line that can give the QB time. We're in a spot where we're looking for competent QB play.....but it doesn't matter how good your QB is if the line doesn't give time to allow routes to develop.

It is very possible Fleck loses this team.

A turnover and a blocked punt put them in a huge hole but the Gophers look like the last place they want to be is playing this game.

And if he can’t right the ship to become a competitive team this year -and there is little reason to buy into that possibility given the performance the last several years - Coyle has tied his own hands. At some point his job should be talked about given the revenue sports situation and the new landscape. Start clean with a new vision.
