P5 defensive athletes shrink the field. It's conceivable it will be harder to run the same type of offense in the big leagues. This is why most teams spread it out, or have dominant stallions on their o line and a serviceable QB to allow a power run game.
 


Now that was a great playcall. Why use it now though? That's the kind of play that could have gone for an 80 yard touchdown.......

I don't mind them using that play call there. Do you think Michigan hasn't used some plays today on those three scores that they might try later in the year? You can't keep your playbook completely hidden until Big Ten play.
 




If these coaches hang on to the Florida wide receiver with offers from Alabama, Florida State, Florida, etc., build the Kill statue. He won't have a more stunning victory in his career.

I don't get your point? So you absolutely think Limegrover is a good B10 coach? That was my point... that he's overmatched in the B10.

We still need a QB that can get the receivers the ball consistently.

The problem is that this isn't a defensive struggle. This is our defense dominating, and our offense allowing them to stay in the game. Their defense isn't causing our lack of offense.
 

Can't get the passing game going against a MAC team playing with no safety help over the top. Very worrying.

Never said that... You had said Limegrover is at a high school coach level, which is nothing near the truth. I'm by no means defending our offense here. Just saying you can't discount Limegrovers good offenses at NIU because they played "nobody."

Don't worry, we will have people defending it later on because we still won the game.
 

Would be interesting to see what is being said inside the locker room right now.....
 

Can these guys stop with the BTN bias? The two interceptions were awful. He could have at least thrown over them, so that the defender has no chance to get it.

52-3 to Illinois did not tell whole story. Illinois had only 348 yds of offense, Kent state had to take a bus to Bloomington IN when game was called to find rooms and come back the next day, and turned the ball over a bunch.

All I have to say about this Coaching staff (mainly Limegrover and Kill) is... this is your 5th year. Our Offense plays like a first year offense. You know, the ones where you have to tape/glue/patch players together to get some semblance of an Offense. That's what this Offense looks like, even though in reality, these are all your hand picked athletes (including the QB).
 

Playcalling is a problem, according to Kill.

Lets do something about it then!
