Let's face it, Limegrover is a highschool assistant that got a lucky break and caught on with a very loyal Coach Kill. One day, if Kill values his job, he will have to decide Limegrover's fate because the Big Ten is full of great coaches that will eat his offenses alive. Claeys is good. Limegrover is in over his head.
 

The other thing that bugs me is the tempo. My God does this offense move slowly. A lot of standing around and deliberate motion.
 


I agree with the calls to replace ML7, if only for a series. Hell if I got to see Strev throw the ball 3 times that would make it worth it alone

I don't get why we keep running it right up the middle? It's like Limegrover picks 10 plays and only uses those 10 plays in a game.

Do you blame Limegrover or is he just forced to play the hand he's dealt? I'd let go of Z and/or Poore before Limegrover.
 



Man, missing those TEs right now. Scarver and Woz are trying hard, but they ain't blockers. They're receivers.

Might be a little bit of an overreaction... Northern Illinois averaged 38 ppg (12th in the country) during the final year of the Kill staff

This game feels like a team scrimmage... It feels like I'm watching a practice. I have no worry at all of Kent State. I bet other B10 teams are licking their chops right now.

They don't play in the B10. Who were they scoring against?
 

Nice play call. Bet they wanted to save that for NW. Hopefully there's a bunch more like that.
 





Now THAT was a great play. Easy throw, get the receiver in the flat where he can use his athleticism, TD.
 

Did you see Smith motion to the sidelines .... He wants a wide run. Once!
