Man this is frustrating as hell. Nothing else I can really say. I'm exasperated.
 



That drop was not Wally's fault. It was behind him... I know people are gonna include that in the "receiver dropped passes" argument.
 

I've asked this before- If Leidner's mechanics are so bad why does nobody correct it?

Yeah, this sounds about right...sadly.
 


Leidner has terrible footwork when he has any pressure...he needs to man up, step and throw. And maybe learn how to slide in the pocket.
 





I never thought we'd be completely relying on our D and Mortel against kent state
 

Why can't this be an NFL game, where if the QB is playing bad, they boo on every incomplete pass? Maybe it might make Kill wake up and put someone else in.
 

Wouldn't hurt to throw someone else in there to mix it up. You guys better not complain if they do switch and things don't go well though

So the question is...do the coaches wait and see if Leidner pulls his **** together in the second half? Kill will give him a series in the third quarter and if he can't perform the hook will come out. Can't lose to Kent State.

The concern is...obviously we will be buried in Big Ten play if the offense can't move the ball in the first half.
 

Interesting, they are going with a Freshman QB.

With this offense, the Gophers will lose most conference games. No other QB getting any playing time today while we run into an eight, nine man box and Mitch settles down to his usual .500 passing level.

We should absolutely complain. This isn't year 2 for Kill and company. It's time they get this crap figured out

This offense is a complete train wreck right now. How much more can the defense take of watching this offense continually fall all over themselves?
