What's with all the penalties? Weren't we one of the least penalized teams last couple of years?
Also, I'm not surprised on the fumble. We have almost done it several times this game.
If this anemic offense continues, there has to be a change somewhere. i.e. players, coaches, coaches who make play calls...something. This is just brutal to watch.
Let's not forget to put some blame on Limey here - our O-Line full of Power 5 recruits is getting manhandled by yet another low-tier defense.
Well maybe I did over exaggerate that, and maybe you're right, but my point still remains that whatever worked in those leagues probably won't work here. I mean geeze, this is Limegrover's 5th year.
So much for Kent St being a cupcake
What Limegroverbis Doug schematically has nothing to do with Big Ten or lower levels. It's not that different than many run. It's primarily execution, and some play calling. However, the philosophy or scheme working at N Illinois, but then not in the Big Ten - no, that's not the issue.
They're too prideful on having 180 years or something together to do that.

IMO, Limegrover should be gone. Claeys is by far the best coach on this team.
Playing football like this we wouldn't win the MAC West. It is time to shake things up.
Kill won't fire limegrover, but play calling duties need to be shifted to someone else. Limegrover just sucks at play calling and makes it so much harder on our players than it needs to be, IMO.
Remember when we use to change coordinators every year? That was great.

Maye is the only guy on offense I feel comfortable with when it's in his hands or going his way
