I don't think I have ever been as unhappy with a win as I am today
 

Boddy-Calhoun really seems to be the media's favorite player to interview. Much deserved.
 

Are they not running the read option because they don't want Leidner running? Up til this year it's pretty much been our bread and butter. Didn't see it much at all today? Once or twice? Thought that the QB could have had some big runs today.

The only thing I can think of is that we're having some fumbles running it

Offense is really a problem with this coaching staff - the ultra conservatism at the end being a good example - we could have lost from that alone. But I think it's Kill rather than Limey. Some kind of stubborness with ball control and use of personnel.
 

I can't wait to hear Sid tomorrow talking about how underrated Kent State is.

I'll also wager dimes to donuts he talks about how good the MAC is and brings up Buttliema losing to Toledo.

Man, this was a tough game to be at. Plenty of understandable boos and no crowd energy after the 2nd half. TCF atmosphere is always awesome, but the offense completely took the fun out of the building.
 


Not sure where to post this, so I'll put it here:

Wouldn't be surprised if this team still finds a way to go 8-4 because the D is so damn good, but also wouldn't be surprised if we went 4-8 because the offense is so pathetic.

edit: before you all reply and disagree with me, I would actually be surprised if we finished 8-4. Just trying to emphasize how strong our defense is and that we will be "in" almost every game on the schedule.

B.S. I'd say anywhere between 10-2 and 2-10 given the respective strength of our D & O.

That will be a very false statement if today's offense shows up.
