Kil's game plan was kind of genius.

He was running the play clock all the way down on our very first offensive series.

Gotta say, VERY impressive effort on the field so far
 

We are like the football version of Badger basketball and I am loving it! Never thought I would say that...

Kill was really impressed with the Western Illinois coach for running down the play clock every play. You can tell he's a "grind it out, run the football, play good D, and field position" kind of coach. I like his philosophy.

Very impressed right now...

SJSU is the best team we've played so far & we're 1 play away from putting up more points against them then #5 Stanford who was also at home & SJSU has had 2 weeks to prepare for this...
 

Completely agree. The impressive thing about today's game is that massive O-Line working in the trenches. They deserve the game ball for sure!

Yeah I think its a little early to proclaim Mitch as the starter. We are going to need to pass better to beat anyone in the big ten. We aren't going to pound it like this against basically all big ten teams. Nelson has shown to be the better passer, but not by far.
 





SJSU is terrible and terribly coached.

I knew their coaches were garbage the second they were couldn't get lined up on their failed fourth down on their first drive. Nobody was prepared for the call and substitutions.
 

Still a lot of time left... scary! This is the time for the Defense to shine!
 

Great game so far by the defense. The offense has been solid but the lack of a passing game is a major concern. Today it doesn't matter but each passing play is as iffy as an extra point.
 


Again I'll say, we need to do a better job of coaching our DB's to turn around when the ball is coming.
 






Its their first year for this new coach. Last coach went somewhere good as I recall. This guy was left over from the last staff, im sure he is trying to figure things out. Last coach was very successful, did a lot at San Jose. Should give the guy 2 years at least to figure things out
 

I want to see one more score... put the game out of reach... go for the..... KILL
