I don't know of any connection. UU attempted to link the 247 page unsuccessfully at first (which was fixed). I just posted the link to his profile so other readers can click on it. Maybe someone else knows if there is a connection.

I was pretty confused when I clicked on the link because all the pic showed was Oregon, Penn state and Wisconsin. Then I saw some of the comments about Minnesota and clicked on the pic. He would be a big get! Hope we can land him.

It looks like they are going after bigger fish and can afford to do so given the rise of the defense prestige nationally.

Are they going to regret letting him sign with the hogeyes?

My guess is if he's good enough to get an Iowa offer, he is at least being targeted as a preferred walk-on by Minnesota. According to Rivals, both Sawvel and Sherels have been in contact with him.

Slow down there, they are waiting for summer camp before handing out anymore instate offers. Way too early to imply they are "letting him sign with the hogeyes." In fact I'd bet that he will be our next commit. I think he is a better version of Mghee.
