One thing I like about this staff is that they aren't afraid to go out on a limb and offer a player who isn't getting a ton of attention elsewhere. We've seen this with Isaac Fruechte, Duke Anyanwu, Ben Leuer, even Murray (when offered), Wells (best offer late in the game was Ball State), Thompson (best offer Northern Arizona), etc.

For the most part, when Kill has gone out on a limb, i've liked the player. So for me, if this kid is offered a scholarship, I'd be fine with that too.

Even though you're right, it seems that PWO is more likely.

Jarmon has already listed favorites that don't include us. We might not be taking him off our board, but for all intents and purposes he's out of the picture.

I have no idea about Wolitarsky, haven't heard a peep in over a month.
 

I could wrong but didn't Thompson and Wolitarsky play in the same conference? I gota assume if Kill made an in home visit to Thompson and not Wolitarsky, he is no longer is in the picture. I could obviously be wrong but it would seem odd to travel all the way out there and not visit him as well if we were still recruiting him.

He may have visited him and we don't know. Kill certainly wasn't the one that said he was visiting Tedric, that information obviously came from the player or someone close to him.

That said, the lack of any news for such a long amount of time does at least draw it into question.
 

The thing with Wolitarsky is that there is no news on anyone, zilch, nada. Last I checked we are the only official visit he's been on, but then again, the schools can't say. As closely as he is playing his cards the kid would be a tough poker player.

I have a friend in NW Florida who is a huge FSU fan. He tells me that Andrews is visiting Tallahassee this weekend and he is pretty confident that he will commit to FSU.

Imagine being 17-18 years old and everyone you know in school is telling you where to go, where not to go. Coaches are telling you why you need to come to X and why Y is a terrible place. On top of that, people on Twitter tell you what you need to do. It has to be stressful.

I was stressed out enough by being told by family and friends of where I should go to school. For a person like Andrews, it is probably 50 times as worse.

Iowa sends their recruits up to visit the Corn Palace in South Dakota on OVs, how can Minneapolis compare with that...:clap:

I think everyone is reading into this tweet a little too much. None of us have any clue just what exactly he is referring to and to try and extrapolate from it isn't a good idea. He very well may be wavering and the FSU visit does worry me a little bit but at this point none of us know what Nate is feeling/thinking so we'll just have to wait and see.

Look at the kids other tweets. He's talking about how MN can't keep their instate talent and only has 1 of top 10 players commited forgetting to mention we only offered 5 of them. The kids a punk. Look at his tweets over the last 24 hours. If he wants to go to f-ing Iowa he needs to just commit and shutup.

Iowa's football program has been better in the last decade - no doubt. With that being said, how someone can go to Iowa City, and just based on lifestyle, make the decision that IA is heaven and Minneapolis is a frozen tundra with just a mall is beyond me.
 

From Joe C's new blog this am on Santoso:

“After taking the visit, I knew that Minnesota was the place for me. Southern Miss didn’t have the kind of academics I was looking for and Minnesota was a much better fit for me. I’m done taking any more visits and am shutting down my recruiting. I can’t wait to get back up to Minnesota!”
 

Can't wait for him to get trucked by Kirkwood, if he can make it on the field.
