Coaching careers just don't work that neatly, i.e. Porter Moser.I’ll take someone who’s not a failed retread all day every day.

Retread? He's 43. He's younger than anyone we're considering except Gates. But he's won 272 games and made the NCAA's 8 times. I'll take that over a guy who's coached 2 years in the Horizon League.I’ll take someone who’s not a failed retread all day every day.
Not by Pat would it be cool...she can be very tough. That would be cool.
I understand the complaining about coaches underperforming with talented rosters. Shaka certainly fits the bill there. But I also don’t understand the lack of credit that those coaches get for putting together those rosters. A college coach is a GM and coach, so if the roster is very talented then they had a lot to do with that.Only because he's had a shot in a big conference. He's under .500 in the Big 12 despite consistently having one of the most talented teams.
She'll smack him around. Not by Pat would it be cool...she can be very tough.
And what if writergoph is the actual source that GI is using.
I agree with this. If there were compliance issues, Coyle would have fired Pitino last year. Pitino’s players had their share of legal issues, but compliance was never an issue. That is, of course, aside from the infamous Gas Tank-gate scandal of 2016 which rocked the Twin Cities and ranks right up there with Clem and his shenanigans.I disagree. Pitino lasted as long as he did because he ran a clean program.
True. Starting to get minorly concerned with Lindsay over there.Whalen? I hope it starts to happen for WBB
Coyle pretty much put Pitino on notice at his first press conference due to "video-gate." The only thing that happened after that was Reggie Lynch and the first incident brought no charges and the 2nd incident I believe pre-dated the first and Coyle's hire.I agree with this. It was a joke...relax.Are they really suing someone for posting the information?
Yes, I could, if that someone tried to pass off that information as his own, rather than attributing it to the source.Could you imagine a newspaper being pissed because someone recapped an article to someone else?
He ‘s more of aShaka belongs at a less difficult conference. DePaul or Marquette seems perfect.
What about T-Payne?I’d be very surprised if Coyle was looking at that route. But maybe a NBA assistant? Dave Joerger? Kenny Payne?
I can run in the dark, but I aint no horse...
What about T-Payne?
All is lost Slim.I’m probably alone on here but I’m not excited about hiring any of the names that have been thrown out in this thread. We need a newsworthy hire with headlines that catch the attention of recruits. I’m prepared for major disappointment and another 3-4 years of excuses for poor play while the new coach is establishing their “system”. Barring something hugely unexpected, this is most likely our reality.
Vehemently disagree. Honor code. They don't allow gays. Don't allow academic freedom. My daughter went to Baylor and while it is definitely a Christian school (Baptist affiliation) it is definitely not hyper-religious. For some students yes, for many, no.
Marquette is only 90 miles to Chicago.LATEST UPDATE:
1. Moser is not interested
2. Little to very little steam on Dutcher
3. Gates is interviewing with MN and Marquette this week.
4. Smith interviewing this week.
5. Working on a Medved online interview.
If it makes you feel any better, the bulk of these candidates are distinguished by how quickly they establish their system and produce wins.I’m probably alone on here but I’m not excited about hiring any of the names that have been thrown out in this thread. Kenny Mayne? What about Freda Payne?
Not at all wrong. Not to mention you can’t shake a stick down there without hitting 3 rednecks
The "info" doesn't belong to them.247 guys probably dont like you bringing info behind a paywall over here
I do.
Really? How do you know they are getting interviews?
Chris Mack was mentioned. That would be a homerun hire. Never gonna happen, but it would be the type of hire you mentioned, yes?I’m probably alone on here but I’m not excited about hiring any of the names that have been thrown out in this thread.
