Maryland transfer QB Danny O'Brien a Stinkin' Badger; UPDATED 6/11: O'Brien leaves UW

nah, no one is mad. WI will still flatten the D to the right or left for 3 quarters and win. other BT teams r gonna have to create some pretty creative schemes to be up on em in the 4th but if you can....then maybe just maybe they'll start to squeeze the ball a little tight.
I am sorry that Maryland has become such a *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#4y grad university one of my old co-workers went there and he seemed bright.

Oh, Unregistered User is definitely mad. I swear he thinks he's like some Gopherhole superhero or protector...constantly monitoring the boards for Badger fans and thinking of new and creative ways to tell us to leave. I can just see him sinching up his maroon-colored cape right now, getting ready to protect the kingdom that is The Six National Titles Forum.

Haha...who?!? Ricky Wagner?!? Who besides BadgerBlitz or Bucky'sCircleJerk.com named him an "All-American"?

As usual, you are right. He hasn't been named an All American. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him on some preseason lists though.

Mel Kiper does, in fact, rank him as the top returning tackle prospect in the country, which usually a decent indicator of preseason All American award. If you follow the link, you will see both Ball and Wagner at the top of their respective positional rankings. Regardless, I think that having both Ball and Wagner on the team factored into O'Brien's decision, and that was my original point.

Yes, and you can say that without making sh*t up.

I'd rather you do it on a Vadger board, but whatever.

I honestly thought he was an All American.

And Dpodoll, I won't ever come here and start a conversation/thread about Wisconsin sports, however, I feel like if Gopher fans start the conversation, it should be fair game to discuss it. I will never clutter up the board by starting new topics or bumping old threads about Wisconsin.

Wisconsin needed to do this with the injury situation. But for the future, it could hurt recruiting of high school QBs. Coaches everywhere will likely point this out to recruits.

Who is the most pathletic?

I always thought Pantherhawk had to be the most pathetic person that ever posted but it looks like Badger2010 has overtaken him. There really should be a way to ban someone whose only purpose in being here is to troll. He is about to become the second person (Both badgers) that I have put on my ignore list. His posts are a complete waste of electrons.

Woah woah woah. What the hell did I do? Talking about Wisconsin sports in a thread about Wisconsin sports isn't trolling...

Ah, just saw that it was Killjoy posting. Never mind, don't care. Maybe you should call up Unregistered User and have his mom knit you a matching cape and you can patrol this forum for Badger fans together. You would make a great side-kick! The interwebs will never safe without you two.

Happiness is.....

.....This message is hidden because Badger2010 is on your ignore list.

BADgers=Iowa State

Turned burrito on and he is singing the praises of the red skunks.

So, shouldn't Badger2010 have a cape too? As the defender of all things Badger here he should have his presence well noted.

- 210 posts in 10+ months.

- It's not my fault you guys like to talk about Badger sports

- If Unregistered User's mom knits me a cape, I will wear it proudly. I will be The Coon and Unregistered User can be Professor Chaos. Killjoy, you kind of suck, so you get to be General Disarray.

Edit: I just realized I'm probably the villain. Hmmmmm. I'll be Professor Chaos. Unregistered User, you can be The Coon or Mysterion, it's your choice. Killjoy, again you kind of suck, so you will be Mintberry Crunch.

we all knew that back when they allowed Brent Moss into the UW.
It was the end of the Hirsch days and his red and white station wagon tooling around town and Butch Strickler pitching bologna. Well, they are richer for taking that path.

Ok, you get props for a quality South Park reference. :) Enjoy your bucket of poop.

The NY Yankees of college football. Just plug and pay, I mean play and buy a championship. Sad

Eventually Its got to hurt Wisconsin recruiting. I can't imagine being a high school QB prospect and wanting to go to Sconnie knowing that they will find some transfer to come in and not even let me compete for the job 2 years later....

Bart Houston has got to feel great that he signed up with Becky and now knows that he has no shot to even see the field until 2014.

Danny O'Brien officially a badger.

As a grad student he will be eligible to play next year....... This is the second free agent Wisconsin has signed in two years and again it looks like it will save their season.

I see the Wiskey versions of PantherHawk are still here, like a bad version of PantherHawk. Must be banned from their own fansite. Otherwise, why would they be here?

The forum is not in need of patrolling. You morons are on here for one reason, the attention. There are countless other places for a Badger fan to talk Badger football than a Gopher message board. The fact that you would come here is trollish. Just accept that you're a troll.

It's not that big of a deal, but people are certainly going to call a spade a spade. You're troll. It's not that big of deal. Life is full of annoying things like traffic, the dentist, and attention seeking trolls. You can't expect people to not comment on you being a troll. It'd be like smelling a fart and not commenting. It's not a big deal, but it's going to be brought up.

I hope he graduates early and transfers out. Karma's a bitch.

He'd feel that way if he's a pussy. But he's a big boy. The best players, play at Wisconsin. Bart will have every opportunity to play. He chose a winning program. Not somewhere he could pencil his name into the starting lineup. It's big boy football.

Wisconsin's situation is pretty much a no-brainer. Of the four scholarship QBs for next season, 3 are injured with two most likely career ending.

At the end of the day, you guys would get Bielema blamed for the Kennedy assassination if you could. Numerous clowns around here were clamoring that with Chryst gone, the wheels would come off. Bart Houston had every opportunity to leave. Danny O'Brien had a couple handfuls of BCS programs he could go play at. Sounds like things are healthy at the two time Big Ten champs place. Guess you guys will have to resort to "inventing" some moral high road as for why it's better to be a Minnesota Gopher. I'll gladly take winning in football for my enjoyment.

He was born in Minneapolis. I thought you folks would be happy for a local kid hooking up with a winning football program.

eat a GIANT D, you lame arse becky badger d-bag. now head back over to beckyville.com and join the circle jerk with the other retards.

Wow that's pretty strong. Pantherhawk, amongst many things, invented about 30 alias' and even went to the extreme of posting on potential recruits facebook page badmouthing Gopher athletics. All this Badger fan did was chime in on Badger related topics. I could see you calling him Bagdad bob for occasionally sugar coating things, but Panterhawk? Even Iowa fans thought Pantherhawk had issues.

Is this supposed to be an impressive pick up by the Badgers? I mean it is a guy who had a great frosh season and won ACC ROY but looked like he had regressed last year to the point of being lost at times. So are we supposed to be concerned about a guy who finished 10th in the ACC, yes 10th, in passing??

So much for "we build up our recruits" talk.
