This is an example why coach needs to get his own players. The style is night and day from past to present. We'll be ok...just going to be a pretty short bench most nights.

It's either a foul or a clear path to the basket. Trying to play D with hands instead of position.

I gave Andre a pass yesterday for just having an bad half. Now I'm pissed. Get your head out of your ass kid.
 

We look like an 8th place Big ten team. Just like most realistic fans predicted.
 


This is an awful defensive team. Has been all year. Now we're turning it over to magnify that weakness.
 



King's looked good against the mid-majors, but there's going to be an adjustment to big time ball.
 

We have no power forwards on the roster...of course we're going to get killed inside. And if we can't shoot threes, well, there will be some long nights.

Yeah, unfortunately I think playing close with Syracuse yesterday got some hopes up that we'd be better than that.
 



Still don't understand why we continue to press. It isn't causing any turnovers and is mostly leading to easy baskets on the opposite end.
 


This tournament has shown that we are very careless with the ball right now. I don't know if it's the players or if it's the new system being implemented. We also really need big men. We really need big men. Finally, a few of our players play out of control at times. Mathieu plays out of control as does Oto and a few others. Austin Hollins has made many bad decisions this tournament.

This season is early, but this team has work to do. We needed this tournament for better teams to expose our problems. Now Pitino needs to use this tournament as a learning tool on the players.

It's called getting his skinny butt in the weight room. He is seriously like a twig with no hops, and therefore, he rebounds at the quality of a point guard.

Um, if we play like this in the BT, we will not be an 8th place team. Arkansas is not a good team and we're getting absolutely dominated.
 

Austin Hollins seems to turn it over every time he touches the ball... Don't know what happened to him.
 

I think we'll be better than NW, PSU, NEB and probably Purdue. But other than that...
 

Don't give up yet.
One of our trademarks is letting the other team go on a 12/14-0 run around the 10 minute mark in the second half.
 

I get that with a press like ours teams will get some fast break opportunities where they control the numbers...but we aren't forcing enough turnovers and our own fast break opportunities to offset this.

I say give the press a little break.

Exactly. People have been saying it's ok to give up some easy buckets every once in a while when you press, but that's not the case when you aren't forcing turnovers with it. If you don't have the athletes or depth, then pull back the press.
 



this team doesn't have the team quickness to play pitino's style. Ark does.
